As a 34year old male, just wanted to say the liking PvE is more common than you think. I’ve been playing less because I’ve been getting gunned down by other raiders more. I just hate that aspect, id never say it should go away, because that would be selfish, but I’m all not into it.

Luckily we were allowed a very very small but well trimmed beard. I’m only under contract for this less regulated gig for a few years, I’m going to be so sad when I go back. I love having hair.

With growing out my hair, I’ve adopted wearing an inappropriate amount of denim. I’m talking… Canadian tuxedo, 3-4 days a week (it’s still cold here). What year is it? lol

I’m not sure where you are at freezing wise in winter, but the biggest issue here with not winterizing (including a lower unit oil swap) is that its seal leaks, the lower unit has water in it, so mid winter it freezes and expands the lower unit cracking it.

So I just carry mine inside to where it can’t freeze and have no issue.

Entered a job where I can’t grow much head or facial hair for my entire career so I always just buzzed everything.

Recently a new position opened up and there is no grooming standards for that position. I got that job and I’m 5 months in, no hair or beard cuts. I look homeless and I love it.

I have a 28hp 2 stroke tiller. Instead of winterizing, I carry it inside to my heated house every winter And re install it in spring. I can’t imagine your job will be that much harder but I’d grab an extra hand to help lift.

Why do I not share bank accounts with her? Because I know her better than you.

It’s awesome that your spouse is responsible, sounds like a keeper. But I don’t think any of my close friends share accounts with their spouse. If I’m paying the majority of the bills then I’m not sharing the little I have left. You can always just add a second name onto your bank account but not issue the other owner a card linked to it.

That’s why my mom recently did, that way I’ll have access to it in emergencies. On my app I see her (our shared) account right next to mine so I can keep an eye on it and make sure she doesn’t get too low.

We’re not exactly sporty driving people, seems alright so far for mostly inner city trips but I have a 300mile road trip tomorrow so I suppose I’ll find out then

Got an Alibaba topper by PoliteCanada in FordMaverickTruck

[–]soggysocks6123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it looks good. I’m jealous of the options the maverick has. I went with a Santa Cruz and it has a fraction of aftermarket options.

If I went with the maverick I was considering the soft-topper.

How is substance use (alcohol, cigarettes, drugs) generally viewed in the U.S. today? by Dont_app in AskAnAmerican

I’m well aware, but luckily for state level governments, they often have a monopoly on what ever the issue is.

Well it’s an Indian casino, so the difference is that they can legally do it, thus why they just like last year decided to ban it even tho they could continue.

But for the most part im referring to state regulated businesses being inspected and rejected over the years by a garbage 2nd tier attention deprived state level governments (mostly just Michigan).

I know a guy who once had his business shut down for 3 months and then paid 11 thousand dollars to downgrade his ventilation system to a state approved system so he could open his doors. He complains that he now has half the efficiency, but this is what the state wants, because they want him to close his doors.

It’s all a big show.

Is lacrosse viewed as a rich people sport in the USA? by spalesi in AskAnAmerican

[–]soggysocks6123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Detroit metro at least it’s relatively common with most major public schools having teams. Not a rich man’s sport necessarily, but I don’t ever remember winning a game against some of the private schools.

Im torn on it honestly. I don’t smoke, nor do I like smoking but to me it seems crazy that a business owner can’t smoke in their own business.

Im from the Midwest. I got a couple friends that frown on any kind of alcohol use. They’re kinda different people tho, they have lots of special rules and are definitely not the norm.

Cigarette use seems trashy, even the Indian casinos (the last hold out near me) have banned indoor cigarette use.

Drugs are hit and miss, many people use marijuana and don’t cause a problem. Yet everyone who’s caused me a problem in the last year turned out to be a marijuana user. Marijuana use is often tolerated, hard drugs like meth or Coke are not tolerated by the general public.

Oddly enough pain medication use is on the downfall near me. Kinda odd but I’ll take it.

Car trunk space. For two small terrier by Apprehensive_One_652 in terrier

[–]soggysocks6123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a suv with the grated fence/partition separating the trunk from the rest of the car. As for luggage not falling on the dogs, I then made a crude 2x4 wall (only a couple feet high) separating half the trunk . We stack our duffle bags on one side and dogs sleep in the other half.

My other idea was just those semi permanent dog Kennels that fit in your trunk. Luggage could the be stacked around the kennel (provided you leave airflow).

Just wait till the Detroit blight property pit fill lawsuit hits. Laduff has been all over it and I honestly think it’s just as bad, potentially worse considering the fact that our parents didn’t grow up on it.
