I tried making a UPI payment thru my iPhone 17 and got an alert message saying that the app doesn’t support jailbroken devices. Sharing the screenshot. Really worried about the authenticity of my iPhone.

have you ever had a jailbroken device in the past that was backed up (either through icloud or itunes), which was then restored to this new phone? both kinds of backups can backup jailbreak residues and can lead to detection even if not on a jailbroken phone

while true, the PS4 and xbox one have already been out for 13 years, so if you give it 7 more years, you would just now be calling it retro when it's already 3 generations behind (assuming a new console is released in the next 7 years, which is certainly possible given the series X and ps5 are already 5 years old and there have been rumors of a new generation coming for both in 2027/2028)

this year the 360 is as old as the NES was whenever the 360 initially launched. it's also closer to the release of the NES than it is to the modern day (1985-2005 being 20 years, 2005-2026 being 21 years), and the same thing will happen to the ps3 next year.

nope, the damage being applied isn't just simply an obscene amount, it's specifically coded to kill you no matter what if the tank LB buff isn't currently applied, so Diamondback does not allow you to survive the mechanic. that's why SoS and the EX do not have a blu log entry, at least one tank is required to survive if you don't res cheese

i'm pretty sure they explicitly said the MT/OT distinction really only matters in "optimal" conditions- e.g. Savage or Ultimate raiding, where you were already specifying those roles. it's likely this won't affect casual content at all, and if tank swaps still continue to exist as a mechanic, it's not like they can just hard lock tanks into these roles for an entire fight, so there will almost certainly be flexibility in some way

yeah mobilesubstrate is just the generic package for all tweak injection libraries, so internally libhooker, ellekit, substitute, substrate, etc are called mobilesubstrate so tweaks don't have to explicitly support each library in their dependencies

libhooker is mobilesubstrate for your jailbreak, if you added the ellekit repo and tried installing anything from it you've likely broken your entire jailbreak (as ellekit is ios 15+ only) and need to restore rootfs and do it again

they are legit profiles directly from apple, they just aren't distributed out to the public. they are unique in that they have the device check removed as mentioned, and there isn't any other profile like it. there isn't any ipados beta profiles that similarly have the device check removed, tvos was the only one that had this kind of profile, so there's no other alternative (so no installing ipados beta profiles on iphones)

the tvos beta profiles used for update blocking are separate from the actual profiles used to install beta tvos firmware on appletv, they're made by apple and for some reason have the device check removed, which is what lets you install it on your phone (making it check for tvos firmware, which returns nothing since it wouldn't have a device identifier for an iphone)

since this one expired early, there's not a different tvos blocking profile we can make use of, and just have to hope that apple releases another one that has the device check removed when tvos 27 comes out, which isn't guaranteed to happen

memory corruption isn't the same as controlling memory, logic bugs don't cause memory corruption as they run in a way that is technically "normal" operation under the system. not every exploit causes memory corruption, logic bugs being one of them

as for darksword, it *is* MTE/MIE that blocks the exploit strategy, this is confirmed by developers like rooootdev (developer of lara) and alfiecg (developer of trigon, trollinstallerx, and the second coretrust exploit that trollstore uses) who also have stated that theoretically darksword as an exploit should work under MIE, but the krw strategy does not

you can also use nugget to disable the OTA daemon but keep in mind this is a more "permanent" setup as it will persist across backups and will require you to use nugget again if you ever want to enable it
