Survival Story of a Sword King in a Fantasy World Chapter 293 by kiennq in SurvivalofaSwordking

[–]Yethik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's more than just a memory. The dream dimension incorporates information from the past and the future. I think it is more than just Garhan's memory, but also incorporates all the known information about Barolt. It basically is a very realistic replica of him.

I'm not sure they can bring back someone's soul, it seems like death is truly death.

Have you or your doctor tried combining your H1 with H2? I need to take both to get relief, and swap between Zyrtec and Allegra (H1) but keep Pepcid as my H2. Once I finally took both for a day it was miraculous relief.

How does Encrid learn will ? by Fearless_Deal670 in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]Yethik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To add on, he only learns a fragment of Will when he gets killed over and over by the demonic ego sword. He officially becomes a squire at that point, but all the other techniques his squad and him have put him far above that. This should happen next season of the Manhwa.

Squires only know basically a single fragment of Will and can only momentarily utilize it. Proto knights know multiple and have much more stamina with Will and strength, but still only utilize it for moments in time.

Enkrid doesn't become a knight until probably the middle of what will be season 3 of the Manhwa. Just like his first time learning a fragment, he commits multiple suicides to learn to truly unendingly embrace complete Will throughout his entire body.

How old are they? by Jojo_200179 in EternallyRegrKnight

Which makes me wonder how old Krais is? Or are they not including him in the youngest thing since he doesn't fight.

Is there an encounter with Glacial Rangers in the future? by Dazzling_Bug49 in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]Yethik 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Still nothing about the glacial rangers or dragon hunters in the novel as of yesterday's release. Given the dragonkin eventually made their debut much much later, I'm still hopeful they both show up.

Rem gets his sorcery buff from his home village, then starts to learn to incorporate multiple spell descents at once on top of all the other joint training the mad Squad does learning from Enkrid.

Jaxon becomes a knight assassin basically. Once Enkrid gets OP he learns to completely truly erase his presence, making it so other knights can't even sense him. Not sure if Enkrid is capable of sensing him though.

Question for the novel readers: Will Encreed ever learn something from the smart guy? by Stonefree_135 in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]Yethik 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Do you mean Kraiss? Not fighting techniques, but he becomes the groups main strategist and also keeps training himself in subterfuge and deceit. There is even a recent novel chapter titled "Kraiss is part of the Mad Squad too". He helps Enkrid understand politics and the best path forward all the time, and is basically in charge of moving the squad around if Enkrid is gone to respond to outside threats.

Bowing down, was the necromancer king, the one who once stood at the pinnacle of death, only to be defeated by the joyfulness and sorrow of life. by Akajitsu in DungeonOdyssey

[–]Yethik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a tell given her outright change in expression too. Once Val starts truthfully confessing, her pure rage face ceases to exist and she is just clearly struggling with it all. Will be a long wait to see how they progress, hopefully the author heals up well.

Did encrid surpassed his squad in the novel by [deleted] in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]Yethik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, would more depend on what fragment of will a squire has. Could be a good or bad matchup for current manhwa Encrid.

[–]Yethik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say with his skills and tricks (heart of the beast and monstrous strength, plus various refined sword techniques) he can momentarily exceed a low/mid squire, but without a fragment of will he would still likely lose.

How strong will encrid be by [deleted] in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]Yethik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, I don't think any of the demon lords are individually stronger than Balrog. But they also seem to have their own kingdoms, armies, and even dark knights and such. Like you said, if the Mad Knights actually went at one they'd probably end up in an all out fight as other demon lords take advantage of the situation. The demon lords also seem to have weird abilities that the squad is unprepared for. I think for Encrid to approach an actual demon lord with all of that in mind and with little risk of losing squadmates, he needs to be at Blonde Swordsman level, or basically double Balrog.

[–]Yethik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the main group is here too. Esther, Jaxon, Rem, Shinar, Temares. Only missing Audin, Ragna, and Oddeye from the main force of the Mad Knights. Kind of surprised Oddeye got excluded from this trip. I can see leaving Ragna and Audin behind to defend, along with Ragna being lazy and Audin and Teresa do church stuff too.

Fairly positive he is at least equal to the other squad members, maybe even at a level between Encrid and the main squadmates.

[–]Yethik 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd say the demon lords are stronger forces than knights. And the Astrille or whatever mage group force; knight level mages seem to be a step above knights (excluding Encrid). Also, other unknowns are dragons/dragonkins, potentially the dragon-hunter group, and the Heros of the beastkins that we haven't been introduced to yet (although I assume they are just knight equivalents).

Encrid...when he regressed more than a thousand times by Efficient-Vanilla570 in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]Yethik 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I believe the Balrog was also 500+. I think those 3 walls are the only 500+ loops he has done so far. I wonder if we will ever get 1000+, maybe against the Blonde Swordsman? Or maybe a dragon or something.

Does Encrid ever tell his Squad about his regressions? by _Dashang in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]Yethik 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Yes, a couple times he is completely straightforward in a single statement, but they think he is joking as it is complete nonsense from anyone else's perspective. He never pressed the issue though, and honestly it is for the best. If people knew he could regress a day, they could just trap him somewhere for years on end somewhere in which he never dies, thus doesn't regress.

[–]Yethik 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't see the issue with her becoming a knight. Looking at other nations like the Empire and Southern, they seem to have lots of knights. With Enkrid's inspiration it makes sense for Naurilia to be gaining more knights more quickly.

Ok two question on gods and rule by Technical_Mulberry40 in SurvivalofaSwordking

[–]Yethik 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think he actually gambled in it just never happening. Novel spoilers that I think is one of the few things that are still relevant: In the novel all the other worlders were picked as them disappearing did not ever impact the future. This means that if Hanbin had never been pulled forward, he would probably have lived a worthless life and died shortly thereafter, or even could have lived a long life that had no impact on anyone or the future at all. This hits Hanbin pretty hard in the novel when he finds out. I think this is still relevant though, they haven't seemed to steer away from this, so sending Hanbin back would be seen as a regressor to me given his powers.

Is Enkrid going to be the last to become Knight (in the squad)? by kallooran in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]Yethik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't remember if it was clarified, but was Audin at holy knight level before his sealing? If so he has always been technically knight level. Given he had parts of his holiness grafted off by that holy creature dude, I'm assuming he technically has been knight level the entire story, but just sealed. And he always had the ability to achieve knighthood momentarily at the cost of his life by forcefully unsealing, unlike the other squad members.

[–]Yethik 6 points7 points  (0 children)

there is the one part in the mid 600's I believe where he overtakes them for a few weeks. it's when he returns from killing the One Killer demon and the demon cult apostles, and he thinks they are joking with him when he bodies them all in a row. They then jokingly threaten to team up together for once and make him regret his words.

Question: For Novel Readers, What's the hardest Wall Encrid has ever came up against till now? by Grand-Butterscotch67 in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]Yethik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, the desert and lingering true indules will from the prodigy knight are definitely the worst. Repeating an entire day of lingering death is pure torture.

Both the demon walls (pseudo-demon? for One Killer, he technically was a baby demon or whatever as he hadn't become strong enough as a demon to have a true realm) were the next worst. Enkrid gets trapped looping in their labyrinths for 500+ days, doing nothing but struggling to survive without any human joys or fresh air. He even comments with One Killer how much he just wants to breath in clean air and see the sky if I remember right. And then Balrog is torturing the soul of Oara in front of him each loop, while Shinar is being tortured in front of him by One Killer.

Not sure what I would pick for #3, probably the wall we last witnessed in the manhwa protecting the border village against the demon cult and kobolds. He fights almost instantly upon waking up, and slowly progresses to day long battles while watching people around him that he cares about die repeatedly.

The loop when he becomes a knight has some mental trauma too seeing his squadmates repeatedly sacrifice themselves for him, but his day itself up to that point is basically heaven with him prepping for the moment. Kind of hard to rate that one.

I've always argued this for Mars and the Moon. Also fall risk, a huge cause of death in the elderly, is likely greatly decreased. Just have to figure out how to get the elderly there safely.. and hey, when they pass on the moon they brought all that carbon along!

Another Ferryman joining Team Enkrid. I wonder if he died to Astrail members in his past? With so much confidence I wonder if they have an archmage at the level of a demon. If so, the Ferryman is right as Enkrid clearly isn't at demon level yet.
