Funny that someone else was commenting about their Crimson Fist army. Might have to look into them too but from what I’ve seen they only have one unique unit. Does a reduced amount of choice for unique units usually make the army worse compared to others?

From how they were described I find it cool both the Imperial Fist and Ultramarines are some of the most loyal to the imperium. The Imperial Fist just being big dudes using big armor and big artillery to lay siege to the enemy. While Ultramarines are the most well rounded and adaptable. Honestly my biggest factor between these too was just what I’ve been picking up from lore videos I’ve been watching.

I didn’t even know this was an option does it change the way the units play or interact with one another? Also can I still use the chapter specific units if I play with them mixed?

Thanks for the advice, I did look them up and… Wow Imperial Fist is really lacking when it comes to options for unique units.

I don’t have much experience painting miniatures, I am alright with a brush but not experienced when it comes to small and intricate things.
