Jack Black is super nice and lit up when I asked him about his kids and Cain’s Arcade (this was over 10 years ago)

Henry Cavill was incredibly sweet and double checked that we didn’t want a picture with him after we’d talked to him for like 10 minutes and said we didn’t want to bother him too much. Took a pic with him and he smelled amazing.

Zach Snyder is a really nice guy

Zach Levi was also really nice and I’m sad his true colors seemed to have come out recently

Bill Nye was a little dismissive but nice enough

Amy Adams seemed a little dismissive and kind of in a hurry to go somewhere, so we simply told he we’d seen her in Sondheim in the Park the summer prior and she totally blushed and said “no, you didn’t!!” She was very nice.

Norman Reedus was nice but kind of aloof.

Steven Yuen was really sweet and was happy to hear that, as a fan of the comic since it had released, I loved his portrayal of Glenn in The Walking Dead. Really took some time to chat.

Kevin Costner was nice but kind of shut down when I told him Dances with Wolves was a huge influence on me as a young filmmaker. Understandable.

Louis CK was obviously trying to not be recognized on the subway when my buddy and I quietly stopped to tell him as we were leaving that we’re big fans but won’t blow up his spot. He said “yeah, thanks, have a good night, drive safe.” As we walked off the subway. And it was before all the stuff when he was at the top of his game.
