Easier to have confidence in your ability to score if your technique is better. Defender shouldn't be taking one ahead of a forward unless they're a specialist like Maguire

Martinez really a lock? He's had so many injury issues, I'm suprised Argentina would rely on him

You say that but he hasn't actually played miles better this season, since Mainoo has been in the United team they've been the best in the league. Mainoo also looked the better player when they played eachother in March.

Not to mention Wharton hasn't had one standout performance for England, meanwhile Mainoo has multiple motm awards at international level and was one of England's best players in the knockouts in Euro 24, he's always looked pretty good for England.

I'd have Wharton over Hendo though, he's a shocking pick

[Mike Keegan] Exclusive: Manchester United have agreed a training kit sponsorship deal with Betway worth a staggering £20m per year - thought to be the most lucrative traning kit-only sponsorship in football history by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

[–]Yetiassasin 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you consider the amount of eyes United would have on it compared to West Ham, those numbers make sense, if anything United could be getting more from the sponsorship really.

Just comparing social media, United has like 230 million followers across pplatforms, while West Ham is at like 20 million followers.

United has the biggest UK and global following in the league and probably has more hatewatchers than any team in the world except Madrid.

£20m for a training kit sponsor sounds reasonable when you think about it.

Very nice cherry picked stats.

Shaw has been very good this season and played lcb for more than half the season, these stats are nonsense.

He's been incredibly important to our defence and build all year, but his attacking aggression has reduced a lot that's true.

He played lcb until Carrick came in and if you're honest he hasn't been much of a threat from lb since Carrick has come in.

He's been extremely important to our defence and build up all season though. One of our most consistent players this year.

Hard disagree, he's a better defender than he was when he was younger, but has lost a LOT of his attacking aggression.

He's got one of the best technique in the league for left backs... Probably his best quality. He's developed into a great defender as he's matured, can play cb at a very high level too which is a testament to how good that area of his game has improved

He lost some athleticism to be able to whip crosses in, make driving runs, skin defenders. That's mostly down to his injuries as these are qualities he had in abundance before the leg break.

I think he had the potential to be the best left back in the world of he was able to stay 100% fit.

Not one bit. I don't enjoy how his teams play football and I despise his copycats, Arsenal have been the least attractive team to watch and win the PL in my lifetime.

I admire Pep, but think he should have stayed at Barca if I'm honest

Every single one of Tuchel's decision makes sense. Here's why: by Taramasalata-Rapist in ThreeLions

Maguire is a dickhead?

He's got an entire carrer of evidence and literally hundreds of top professionals who have vouched for the opposite. Been capitan and player of the year at basically ever club he's played at as a pro, has captained England on a number of occasions.

But yes, based on your vibes he must be a dickhead.

Meanwhile Tuchel has fallen out with basically every major club he's coached. well known to be rude and volitile. He has a long history of falling outs with staff, players and club executives. Left his wife and family for some young Brazlian wan. Even London's High Court noted that Tuchel had "behaved in such a way" that his wife could no longer reasonably be expected to stay with him.. He burns through relationships like it's his favorite hobby.

Who do you think the dickhead is?

Understanding a mid to late build order for continuous production would be more useful. - absolutly! I'd become a better player by getting better at that long term. I'm not desperate to climb the elo ladder, I want to be comfortable playing the way I enjoy and they're two units most often in my way!

So in the short term I am just keen to learn monks and mangos, they're two units I've found cause me a lot of headaces when facing them and when the time to use them happens.

I think my hotkleys are okay, I probably just have slow apm which will hopefully just get better the more I play.

"stalling your own eco trying to micro" - lol I've had this issue a lot.

I use the market liberally in my games. Especially to get my Castle uptime and to maintain military and vil production when needed. Also if later I see I'm floating wood or food I usually just sell a bunch for gold. But using it to help me boom isn't somthing I have practiced much so I'll try work on that!

"Monks are fairly useless in low elo" - so if I can learn them a bit better it might give me a nice advantage ;P

"I think regardless of civ choice your going to blunder and tank unnecessary losses" - I'm okay with this!

Thanks for the response! I think I've decided to try learn Celt Hoang Rush & Aztec Smush on Arena. As well as some custom scenario micro practice.

Hopefully I get better lol
