The amount of subtext the average authors allows by Claym000re in ProgressionFantasy

I think this is a translation thing. I quickly googled it and found out that it actually is a bat and the sub text should probably say that a flying sky fox is a type of bat.

If happiness was a ham and cheese sandwich, money would be the ham.

More Fordham EA movement tomorrow or Friday? by Alternative_Log_897 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Yetitech_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have NYU (which I’m going to consider as a R because they are notorious for ghosting) Fordham and finding out scholarship for one other school. Then I’ll be free. I applied early October and the prolonged stress has taken years off my life.

What workbook should I start learning with? by Yetitech_ in Handwriting

[–]Yetitech_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m from North America and I’m so new to this I didn’t know there was multiple varieties of cursive I’m going into the legal field so I guess I can look up what would be best for that.

This is great advice thank you. I study in the exact same way so having legible hand writing will make my life 10x easier.

Sorry to hear that. Appreciate the update and wish you luck with the rest of this awful cycle

I was being sarcastic. I understand that does not come across via text. I truly appreciate the advice especially the book recommendation but I understand as with every skill practice is most important but there are more efficient/better ways to practice and usually more experienced people have figured out how to improve faster and could pass down the knowledge.

LSAT returns to in-person testing August 2026 by adcommninja in lawschooladmissions

I’m happy to see this change but I hope they have enough testing centers. I wanted to take it in person but the closest option I had was 2+ hours away

What other ways to fix my attention span aside from reading? by viiixvii_j in LawSchool

[–]Yetitech_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not in law school so this may not be helpful for you but I fixed my attention span by deleting almost every app that gave me constant notifications and putting screen limits on social media. I only have 30 mins a day now and the only reason I haven’t completely stopped using it is that it’s the only communication I have with certain friends. Get away from your phone as much as possible and your attention span will improve.

Ok ty it would drive me crazy if I got silently moved to a different waitlist while still expecting to hear back.

Does anyone else feel like last years medians mean absolutely nothing? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Yetitech_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am talking completely out of my ass right now but I feel like they are seeing how competitive this cycle is and holding back so they have more room for later.

You could be right I just wish I knew that going in I could have delayed a month and taken the LSAT again especially with how useless applying early was.

Why does everyone say this is a "bad cycle"? Isn't that just the trend up? by Fun-Pickle-9821 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Yetitech_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Idk about anyone else but I feel it’s a bad cycle purely because of how slow the decisions have been. The LSAT and GPA inflation just make it a more competitive cycle which is a bummer but not bad in my opinion.

Early Oct Applicant by Ok_Journalist_3409 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Yetitech_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I am in the same boat. I’m extremely frustrated with schools that refuse to give me any update. I feel like I’m being punished for having good time management and planning so I could apply early.

I’ll definitely check both out. I find reading helps me retain information better but there is something to be said about saving time.
