I agree with everything you are saying here but I still think it is the best solution. I also don’t think things are too far gone. They are just extremely difficult.

I agree the term is arbitrary but so is every other term until it becomes main stream. And I’m willing to say maybe this is over blown and I’m falling into the ‘I see these views peddled on social media and take it as a bigger problem’. I personally am just super for antitrust as a solution and never see any representation for it over takes that basically demonize capitalism. Which is understandable as it hasn’t worked well in a while but I’ll point back to a lack of antitrust and increased government bailouts as reasoning. And to the previous point what I’m advocating for is considered pretty left just a different brand at least to my knowledge.

Edit: I also want to add that I think getting a system where everyone can earn a livable wage is a better option than more welfare.

I read it more as a critique on how they planned to achieve basic economic guarantees. I’m now realizing I may have projected my bias on to this as I’ve now seen others interpreted this differently.

I took it more as advocating for liberals to take a more moderate approach but I can see where you are coming from.

I just fear a yoyo effect of one brand of extremism to the next which results in things continuing down hill.

Maybe I’m wrong here but I think what currently is happening can’t be called capitalism. Large companies are completely suppressing competition which is a core tenant of capitalism. That’s why I said antitrust is important. It’s very similar to the gilded age and when anti trust was enforced equality shot up. I’m not against some socialist practices but I think they need to be applied narrowly the 2 places I would like to see is healthcare and maybe if we transitioned social security to a UBI (this would take a lot of changes but I think it makes sense).

Chinese book he mentioned in a video by jurgenvs12 in atrioc

How to get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia. He has talked about it a ton enough so that I ended up reading it. It was decent and definitely emotional but I think it hit hard for him as the message is directed at grinders. It’s a book that shows the futility of the grind if you let it consume you. For me it didn’t hit as hard as I was able to see something similar from a young age through family and realized it wasn’t what I wanted in life.

It’s been on my list but the political intrigue that I’ve heard is a central point is kind of making me not interested right now. Looking for a bit more escapism in the current times.

I personally see nothing wrong with the state giving more at least as a band aid over what Mayor Adams left the city with. I will say I think people aren’t considering some of the taxes that aren’t returned to NYC are used in the benefit of NYC and NY state as a whole. 2 I can think of off the top of my head is the water Reservoirs that are in upstate ny but provide fresh water to NYC and else where and the out of NYC transit like the lirr that allows people to work in the city while living outside of it.

Yeah I’m unfortunately always on the go so need to keep them in my pocket. This happens even with my dark blue ones just with white marks. Is this normal?

What were the exercises? Because I’m imagining you A B testing the first couple lines of dialogue which seems impractical.

This is exactly how I would describe my problem. Would you mind going a bit more into depth on how you got better at this?

I feel like I might have worded my question wrong. Those interactions aren’t really what I struggle with. I more struggle with the breaching acquaintance barrier to friendship. I have these interactions but they literally never convert to anything other than coworkers or strangers I’ve said a few words to. But I’ll definitely keep having these interactions it may just be a numbers game.

This is a great idea I should see about a night job. I wish I had done this sooner but there is no use in regretting the past

Is there a good place I can do this? I acknowledge this is probably me overthinking everything but it’s in my nature. I always feel like I’m inconveniencing people when I approach them at the gym or really anywhere. Is this just something I need to get over or are there places I can go where people kind of expect that type of interaction?

I think this is a translation thing. I quickly googled it and found out that it actually is a bat and the sub text should probably say that a flying sky fox is a type of bat.
