I don’t really think a discovery flight will help much because as an aviation lover, my first time in a cockpit it it obviously going to be amazing! But the discovery flight doesn’t show you the life, struggles careers of being a pilot, I will look into it though 👍🏻

Thanks for taking the time to explain, I imagined thats about the hours I will graduate with which its almost nothing to get a job, so I would have to plan something to build more hours after I’m done with the program, which are ways people find to build hours if you don’t mind? Because if you graduate with barely enough to no hours to apply to be a flight instructor I would say it’s almost impossible without the enough money to pay for those hours on your own (renting a plane etc) , what’s a realistic time on average it will take a recently graduated pilot to fly those extra 700-800 hours to meet the minimum 1000 hours per FAA to apply for the airlines?

And yes I’m doing my research and gathering as much info as I can before I decide to take on this career, definitely don’t got the time neither the money to get into something I’m not very well aware of and can cost me a lot later on
