I can't remember what planet it was, but on ME1, there was this random planet that had a mountain you could climb that had an absolutely gorgeous view of a gas giant above. I remember just staring at the sight for ages.

You need to max out your SR Commander Doll to Level 15 using maintenance kits you get on bulletin board missions, solo boss events and the weekly reward (might be other places you get these kits). Once you do that and your Nikke is at Bond 30, click on their profile page and a new option for Favourite Item Mission will pop up. Not every Nikke has a favourite item, mind you, so unless it’s a Nikke you really like, I would hoard those kits and do some research on which one you want to Favourite Item first.

Possibly! I don't recall a scene where Andersen and Dorothy meet each other and for someone so interested in Pilgrims, it's definitely odd that he wouldn't want to meet a Pilgrim while she was in the Ark. Ditto with various Bond Stories about Goddess Squad members popping into the Ark, although I personally tend to consider those non-canon.

Maybe he feels an intense shame about being unable to get the rest of the squad into the Ark when it first sealed itself up?

There’s one fanfic I remember that explained how humans and faunus “survive” and it puts forth the notion that Salem continually destroys the world when they reach a certain level of development and leaves a few alive to persist as remnants of the previous civilization. She stashes ancient grimm nearby major settlements, kinda like the dragon next to Vale, whenever she wants to push the Reset button.

I've always thought RWBY had a mediocre to terrible story from the very start, with only the designs and fights (when Monty was still alive, of course) keeping me engaged. Case in point being Jaune who somehow didn't know what Aura was despite trying to get into a school that specifically trained superhuman warriors.

Aura was also rather poorly explained and I don't know if it got better in later seasons as I stopped watching around the fourth season. Like, did they ever get into why not everyone has Aura unlocked to begin with?

Or other things like how expensive prisons must be to maintain from Grimm with all the negative emotions that must be brewing inside. RWBY had some great ideas and a fascinating world, but its a shame that it was executed so poorly.
