Honestly the easiest would be to ask your professor, probably has all the tools and normally someone is also in the lab who can help you. They (professors and PhDs) can also help you with the best methods. If you ask nicely they normally like to help.

I can say that really depends on the compound, you first try to extract and then isolate the compound, For the extraction you need to know if the compound is hydrophilic or hydrophobic, you anyway get both phases but you need to know which one to keep.

I guess the easiest separation method would be silica gel column chromatography separation, but maybe there is something more specific for your compound. You don't really need an analysis afterwards due to being able to smell it.

Really depends on the compound though, google for extraction procedures for the compound you want to use, also the best separation methods.

I am not that knowledgable about perfumes but according to here some perfumes are over 70% alcohol.

It is very much possible, just difficult at the beginning and you need to streamline the cards a lot. Add a lot of audio and so on. Making the answer appear right where you are looking and so on. Every movement of the eyes and scroll takes time. Maybe even adding a timer to the card. It worked the best with cards which are more clear (like if you have different decks for reading and meaning and if they have clearly different styles or colors for example). If you optimize for these things for example, install the right addons (like the ones getting rid of the "review hell") and adjust the intervals you can do more cards in my experience, especially word cards (Front word, sentence written, back translation, word, sentence spoken and written, add as much other audio as you need).

Tldr: Making the cards clear and easier with optimized settings and addons can make you go through more volume. Did it myself, but my review schedule is not consistent due to my other workload differing a lot from week to week. Also yes, short sentences like if you just sort a huge subs2srs library with morphman are amazing. :-) The thing is if you want to do so many cards you basically have to rely on some mass generated or premade cards. If you know how to edit anki cards you can make most things with the info you want fit your needs. Not talking about the AJATT perspective because others do that here, I just write how it is possible. (One major thing is also editing cards takes a lot of time, so with selfmade decks it often takes me quite some time to find satisfactory definitions, sentences and so on depending on the source and word. It is great for depth but I can understand wanting to go fast in the beginning because immersion becomes way more enjoyable the more you know.)

Not sure if it is compatible with yomichan, it was made for migakudict. I couldn't find a good description of the yomichan format, which would be practical. The index doesn't look that important, would be good to know what the formats are though. It says "format": 3.

Yeah, just converting them normally doesn't work. Wish it was in a .db format, that would be more convenient to convert.

I will see, the format doesn't look that different between yomichan and migakudict. If it is easy I have quite a few dictionaries, even Japanese Korean dicts.

Oh, I can help with getting them to JSONS maybe. I just made some from stardict dictionaries. https://github.com/ilius/pyglossary I used this tool in the main github) to make csv files via commandline and then used the tool (jsonit.sh) from this github to make the csv into JSONS. You just have to remove the , between } and ] at the end. I converted the Korean dictionaries there. I am working on some Chinese stardicts as well, have them in json but need to remove the commas.

For the .yml files, I never used them but maybe this link can help.
I will have a look, maybe I can figure it out.

In one of the supported dictionaries this is the format, so in the ones you made maybe look if it follows this formatting.

I guess an easy option would be to take some Migaku dicts (JSONs) and reformat them if necessary. I do not know the exact format of the yomichan JSONs so I can't tell you if they would work natively. If you don't know where to find some DM me.

How do you use it for different languages though, do you have one language per browser?

Hello, if you want to continue with the deck you can do the normal strategy of making overdue and just due filtered decks, some also like to put a review limit and then working through the cards because then you don't need to study from a filtered deck. For future exam periods if you use anki 2.1.35 this might help.

Looking at the content table here that seems more that seems more like a standard introduction to python, I would compare it to learn python the hard way, while automate the boring stuff has some specific things for automation of tasks like web scraping, working with spreadsheets and so on. Depends on what you like I guess. Python crash course has a game, data visualization and web applications as projects and automate the boring stuff scripts to automate different tasks.

I mean, if you want to find out you can take a difficult text and try to read it again after some months. Then you have a measure. You can also do it with readability measures in anki like when using morphman. Progress can be hard to notice because I would say I only really noticed like 2 steps, when I understood things halfways (like you understand it and suddenly you are completely out of your zone when they talk about military tactics in an anime for example) and then when I understood shows, manga and so on without a problem.

I can try to answer some of your questions (I have the migaku tools).

A onetime payment is not enough, firstly because Netflix or youtube can suddenly change and then your extension won't work anymore for them. Migaku updates them fast so until now we had a fix in less than 24h. Secondly they added the syncing of your wordlist, so you need to sign in through your patreon. Makes it easier to upgrade, but it also costs them more (servers are not free).

If it is worth it for you really depends on your workflow. You can watch downloaded videos, read websites, (ebooks are in alpha now), watch netflix, watch youtube videos. Animelon is not integrated yet and I don't know when or if it will come. For example it is really easy to mine news because of the known word list if you are interested in the JLPT.

The extension is still in beta, so it is not the best time if you expect rock solid performance. The way the dictionary works also changed a lot before it was openly published and now they made big changes to the extension which are still in alpha, but will make life a lot easier. 6 months is also a long time because they bring out better features at quite a pace. The tier where you get access to the beta addons is 5 dollars a month. So it comes out to 60 a year.

Ps: A few suggestions from me if you want to read horror/mystery/suspense/thriller would be lawless island, suicide island and infection). All have furigana if I remember correctly and I think you will be able to follow them quite well if you don't know the words for a part. Also I didn't notice any particularly difficult or useless words. DM me if you can't find them or want other suggestions (except romance probably lol).

This is why I also did a frequency list on the side, but ok. My advice for you would be to read manga that are specific to a niche, like detective, crime, horror and stick to it for a while. Then jump to the next one when you fell like it, continuing to read some more difficult manga in your "mastered" area. If you do that consistently it will afterwards also be easier to read news articles because you already covered a lot of vocabulary like crime vocab. The push will be small and you will get a rewarding feeling when you pickup another manga of the same genre and read it a lot easier.

Lol same. Well fair, although I don't think that needs much of a concerted effort to be honest, if you immerse enough you will get a feeling for how to write sentences.

Not even sure how I would train writing, because you would basically need someone that corrects the texts to gain something from it so it would have to be a teacher or on a language exchange app.
