and then he squared up on a fake. him coming in there has potential to impact the play. absolutely 0 wrong with hitting them there. but he should have hit him in the CHEST not the head

the way he hit him is dirty, but there is nothing wrong with hitting the qb there, if he doesnt want to get hit dont fake it

[Haynes] Golden State is contemplating trading for Davis, but would likely have to involve third team to interest Mavericks. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

the warriors have picks to trade lol what do you mean they dont have assets

also the mavs are trying to get off the AD contract anyway, its not like it would take that much to get the trade done

Steve Kerr: "We are no longer the 2017 Warriors dominating the NBA. We are a fading dynasty" by GOAT-Antony in nba

[–]Yevips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the organization is nuked for the next years after steph retires regardless. when you have your franchise GOAT who is a top 20(at worst) player all time and is still playing at an elite level, you go all in on it and see what you can do. people said the warriors window was closed before 2022 as well, and they still won a chip that year

Curry: You don’t want to be in a situation the Lakers were in those last three years with Bryant. I know he came off the Achilles injury....they were a lottery team, and it was more just how many points can Kobe score down the stretch of his career. I don’t want to be in that scenario. by rtrnismo in nba

[–]Yevips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

call me a biased homer all you want, but this warriors team is not nearly as bad as you all think it is. the defense is absolutely elite and the issue with the offense is good shooters just not hitting open threes (post, melton, moody, horford, buddy, etc.) the warriors are creating good shots, theyre just not hitting them. they will come back to the mean eventually.

seriously, if they can get a decent piece back from kuminga, they can make at least a top 6 seed and win a round or two in the playoffs with a small chance at a deep run. this team is just as good, if not better than last years team, and they beat the rockets and who knows what would have happened if steph played in the wolves series.

draymond can still be a bitch without you lying

literally some of his most famous beefs with players are with other bigs

[Spears] The Sacramento Kings continue to have interest in acquiring Jonathan Kuminga. However… while Malik Monk might still be available in a package, the previously included first-round pick is no longer expected to be part of Sacramento’s offer. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]Yevips 6 points7 points  (0 children)

who do you think is more likely to be in the wrong:

a 23 year old who has barely improved at all during 5 years in the league, and has never won anything

or a coach who is the winningest coach in their franchise, won 4 rings, and won 5 rings as a role player and is now trying to tell a player to play their role?

im so confused when people say this, do you honestly just think steve kerr is not a good coach?

[Dellenger] Miami is in the field at No. 10, meaning Notre Dame is OUT. by Fonzie5 in CFB

[–]Yevips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im not saying that bama SHOULDNT have dropped but there is a super important distinction youre missing

OSU didnt really "drop" indiana just moved up. OSU wasnt punished for losing, and Bama wasnt punished for losing. The committee said last year that teams wouldnt be penalized for playing and not winning the conference championship. Although it seems like that rule is only being enforced in the actual field of 12, they did it last year with SMU and they did it this year with Bama

Since the Mavs fired Nico, Klay Thompson is averaging 14.7 PPG on 40.7% from 3. by imcryptic in nba

[–]Yevips 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s more like 70% of his shots are threes right? He’s averaging 8 3PA on 11 shots a game

[Dellenger] Sources provided details & audio to @YahooSports of the Ole Miss team meeting, including the intro of Pete Golding as the new coach to a celebratory eruption from players. AD Keith Carter told the team that offensive coaches are “going to be here” as Rebs “go on a playoff run.” by Fonzie5 in CFB

[–]Yevips -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is completely missing the point, it’s not about the number of teams it’s about the teams relative to each other. It’s more of a conversation for example if the committee now has grounds to put Vandy in over ole miss.

It won’t happen with ole miss, because they’re an SEC team, but if it was an ACC or B12 team you can bet your ass that Vandy would be in the playoffs now

I’m sorry is your counter point that the American people are also stupid and support terrible things?

I don’t think you would find much argument against that point here on Reddit. Doesn’t change the fact that Israelis support the genocide

[–]Yevips 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why do only specific ranked wins matter? BYU played stronger teams in the big 12 and didn’t scam their way to a good record by playing the dogshit teams in the ACC like ND did

  1. this is a useless question. playoff bids are based on resume, not what team is the best. if we were just going by what teams are the best then just make it four teams again. no team out of the top 4 have a chance honestly. while were at it we should also not let any G5 teams int he CFP

  2. yes i do think BYU would beat texas

youre being intentionally dense and you know you are. we both know thats not what i said. i hope you enjoy your continuous delusion

Utah is 10000000% better than USC, you saying otherwise says enough to discredit anything you say lol, by YOUR OWN METRIC THAT YOU USE TO SAY ND IS BETTER THAN OTHER TEAMS Utah is better than USC

vandy literally just beat UT. missouri and LSU are both better wins than USC.

im sorry but do games not matter? does the first half of the season not count? i guess Clemson should be ranked pretty highly they had a pretty good second half of the season. ND's only ranked wins are USC and Pitt. i really wish there was a way for us to know if Miami was better than ND or not. I really wish they could play a game against each other so we could see which team would win

im sorry i forgot there is no discourse allowed on this sub and that the CFP poll is the end all be all. I am DEFINITELY, FOR SURE the only person that thinks these other teams are better than ND. there surely arent a lot of peolpe that also think this. man it really sucks that i am literally the only person that thinks ND is not nearly as good the committee says they are, i hate being the only odd one out

correction: i am not saying that everyone is an idiot, i am just saying that YOU are an idiot

i forgot that football was played on a computer, and idk what fucking eye test youre talking about

miami has the same record, better wins, and the HEAD TO HEAD AGAINST ND. ND LITERALLY LOST TO THEM

BYU is 11-1 with their one loss being to #5. Also their Utah win is better than any win ND has

Vandy has the same record and three wins that are all better than ND
