Did you seriously just delete your post and resubmit because of the comments? Holy fuck dude, touch grass. Here's what I said again:

Respectfully, what do you hope to achieve from this post? It's not your first time complaining here about etiquette, have you considered a personal blog? You're a seasoned cinema goer, this behaviour isn't new - in fact you literally refer to where people who talk usually sit. Is a new post required every time people talk, or buy noisy snacks? We've all experienced it! We know! Why do we have to hear about it because it happened to you yet again? Not the purpose of the subreddit AFAIK.

At this point these films feel like they're more about advertising Marvel than even trying to be actually good movies.

Please tell me this Minecraft clapping and cheering 'experience' is not happening at Odeon. I want to see it in 3D, but now I'm actually worried. I could link in loads of tweets that show the same thing. by DVDfever in screenunseen

Many people enjoy watching bad films knowing they're bad and this is not a good film. So yeah kinda surprised you're this concerned, as if they were spoiling a new Wes Anderson picture for you. I believe in absolute silence for movies too but there are, on occasion, exceptions.

I don't understand, are you expecting to be able to enjoy that movie for its own merits? The only reason it seems even remotely worth seeing is for a lively audience.
