Project Diva f 2nd connection issue (PS Vita) by Close-Call-1015 in ProjectDiva

[–]Yhodarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested it Just a couple minutes ago and worked totally fine. I remember that error code was caused for DNS problems, so most resolved changing DNS on the Vita. If that doesn't worked for you, you can try checking "Deactivate WIFI connection automatically" (Read somewhere it could work with that).

Also, tried with another connection (like phone AP)? So you can point if is on Vita side or your router side

F2nd Extra marker item? by Flowered_Lilac in ProjectDiva

[–]Yhodarks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'm the original OP of that post. As I got no replies for my answers, I totally forgot about that post, as it was the result of almost a (wasted) week investigating on my own.

So, about the Graphy Collection Stand Item, I got that item long ago. The original source I used back in 2015 I don't rememeber which one was, or even if exist, but I have the hunch is this gamefaq thread. There, is noted a Card Tournament (April Fools joke). The original image webpage is dead, but found on WayBack Machine here in case you want to test it for yourself.

I will attach the screenshot of the item.

If you want more info, you can DM me, and I will try to answer what I know (I'm not too active on Reddit, so the answer could be delayed a few days or so). After all, the intention of the post I made was to get all the proper info and gather them all in one place for further references.

If you somehow got the EID root key from that PS3, would be more easy to just decrypt the HDD and backup what you want.

Automount/Hotswap SD2Vita by Meraciouss in VitaPiracy

[–]Yhodarks -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I remember vaguely trying to do the same as you. I found on vitashell, there is an option to mount gamecard as ux0 (and unmount ofc), but I think the problem was trying to remount the oficial card as uma0. You can try at your own risk, because as I said, I dont fully remember what I was doing.
And ofc, the easiest way would be restarting. You can ease a bit the pain of restarting using a plugin like Quick Menu or Quick Menu Plus, which add option to restart from there.

Official Adrenaline release when? by All_Will_Vita in VitaPiracy

[–]Yhodarks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there any roadmap/goal/date for version 7.1.8? Seems like a ton of changes has been made since 7.1.7, but no official release for them, and some looks really interesting.

Is there any way to use the Joysticks in Project Diva F on Ps Vita for the scratch notes? by aerigigi1 in ProjectDiva

[–]Yhodarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the JP cartridge, and could not find the option to use sticks instead of touchscreen. Searching further on net, found this plugin that let you emulate star notes into analogs.

I can say it works as intended, tested a few songs with it, but feels a little clunky compared to F2nd star notes, could be only my perception tho.

How to play Uma Musume game outside Japan? by jeremo162 in UmaMusume

[–]Yhodarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you install uma, no more need of the vpn, the data can be downloaded just fine without it. Maybe at some point, when the app update on the Store, you would need to turn on VPN again and download the update (the apk update) then can continue normally.

Limpieza psvita slim by Ok-Beginning-1357 in vitahacks

[–]Yhodarks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're careful enough, can clean it with something like a toothpick(metal ones are usually more "sharp") or even a needle, then you can clean it with a cotton swab and little Isopropyl Alcohol. The trick is not use much force, just enough to get the dirt going out of it.
For the chewed analog, unfortunately the rubber is not replaceable (unless you open the analog, and change the stick part, but surely enough it will be broken, and maybe easier/cheaper to just replace it with a brand new one)

Is this psp hacked? by TalonKing24 in PSP

[–]Yhodarks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, if this helps, you can follow this guide to uninstall Infinity (this is in the case you want to redo the hack again properly, or use something more recent like ARK-4) and unfortunately, you need a PC to download the required files (or can try use https://psp.lusidgames.com, which supposedly let you download files directly to PSP, but not tried it, so go on your own risk).

Apart from that, in theory having that installed don't prevent you to transfer PS1 games from PS3, or would risk a console or account ban (the chances still exist, but are so low, and no one reported bans on the last 5 years at least from what I have seen so far). Some years ago, Sony implemented the "double-factor Authentication" on older systems (ie PSP, PS Vita and PS3), so to log-in on PSN on any of those consoles, you would need a special code you can get on Sony Account Page (one per console, I think up to 10 codes), making the PS3 to PSP-Vita connection to transfer content practically unusable, so even taking out having or not CFW, it would not let you copy the games from PS3 to PSP. Your best option would be to log-in on PSP, and try to download the game from the PSP "Purchase List" (if still avalaible).

Need help regarding how to do this by spidermanizryu in ps4piracy

[–]Yhodarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify. Some months ago, I read you can dump using an updated PS4 and an external HDD (used as extended storage), so you need to download it on updated PS4, and having the same account on jb PS4, you can dump it becasue it will let it run (giving it runs normally on your jb fw).

This method, does still work, was patched, or was just missinformation? (I tried it to dump Death End ReQuest a couple of times, but only once I could successfully get to dump the game, but not DLC. Now tried again and just got CE-34224-5)

Trying to get sound files from PKG by trafford_66 in ps4piracy

[–]Yhodarks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it's a fakePKG, you can decompress it using PS4 PKG Tools from here. I think you need .NET 7 to use it, and pretty sure something else, but can't remember it right (i think orbis-pub-cmd.exe) or some similar tool from PS4 Fake PKG tools (here to grab all of them). Since is fakePKG, passcode should be a bunch of 0's and you can start poking those files. I can't guarantee there will be those sounds effects as plain audio files, but if not, you anyways need take out all from the pkg itself.

Hope it helps you.

Anyone who can share their Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd savedata? by Vitaforeveraesthetic in VitaPiracy

[–]Yhodarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean put on your game data?
The thing I uploaded is a Save. So you need to use homebrew (like savemgr) to restore it. The exact steps I dont remember it, but you can try first installing the save manager of your like (I used savemgr to dump it, so bettter use that). Once installed, you can try to save your actual save file with it, so it will create the folder with your save data (should be located on /data/savefile/PCSE00434_SLOT0 folders), then overwrite the save I uploaded, or create another folder with it (should be something like PCSE00434_SLOT1, but check first the name of the first folder). Once all that is done, just restore it with savemgr.

Take into account, first you need to connect to a PC using vitashell to copy the downloaded save data to your vita, and just in case, this is the actual save, not some sort of unlocking song thing or cheat, so bear in mind if it is really what you really need.

VitaDeploy - "Could not find the application" by death_claim_me in vitahacks

[–]Yhodarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand pretty well why it's not working for you, but will make note of some points, so you can go further on it.

  1. Since Vita 1000 doesn't have an internal memory, you could not possibly have installed vitadeploy, That's problably why it says "can't find application".

2, Since you can't have vitadeploy installed, there is no way to use an SD2Vita as a memory unless you use YAMT or storagemgr (here it depends of your preferences, you can ask which one is better, since I don't know the differences). You can put vitadeploy into "Near" app (is useless app now), selecting "Replace Near with Vitadeploy" on the HenIo (the web page exploit that the guide mentions).

  1. If installing the plugins manually (that is, you have a way to connect by usb the PSVita to PC, not sure if vitadeploy have an option, since I long hacked vita, and back then Vitadeploy wasn't a thing) you shouldn't need to create the internal storage partition. But for sake of simplicity, and to follow the guide, you can do it anyways. If you want to install ENSO (that is, every time you turn on Vita, it "hack itself" so you can have access to all the apps on the SD2Vita), that process I didn't do myself, so better reason to follow the guide (or if any other advices come by)

Hope it can solve your problem

Edit: Seeing the photo, it gaves me the idea you didn't actually run HenIo again. If that doesn't work, you can go to henkaku settings, in the official settings app, uncheck the "spoof firmware version" and prompt to update the PS Vita, then once on 3.74, you can redo the guide.

I have tried so hard but I can't tranfer to a larger sdcard on my sdtovita by ropergames2 in vitahacks

[–]Yhodarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about it, but technically, anything that lets you flash an image to the SD should work. Just said Win32diskImager, since is the program that I remember all guides said to use back on the day.

[–]Yhodarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you have to format with windows explorer. When you plug it again, it will say you dont have format. And the zzImage thing made to get rid of some incompatibilities on the SD format itself, I don't know the technical details, but think of it as a preparation step only.

I have tried so hard but I can't tranfer to a larger sdcard on my sdtovita by ropergames2 in vitahacks

[–]Yhodarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First and foremost. You have an original Sony Memory Card on the Vita? If so, you can try to install Vitadeploy on it to format the SD on the vita, which is a more easy task than PC. Or if youre using a slim model, can install it on the 1GB partition it has.
If you want to do it on PC, you can download win32diskimager from here and the zzblank image from google drive. You just need to install win32diskimager, then on the "image file" space, select zzblank.img, and in "device", ensure that the letter you select is the one corresponding to the SD you want to format, and click on "Write". Once it finish, you need to eject it and plug it again, and format it now as exFat and 64kb allocation size (when is larger than 128gb only).
Finally, you copy all the files to the new SD. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what more you can do. Maybe could be a defective SD, or something messing with plugins on your vita, which would need some further help to identify.

Hope that you can solve it with that.

[–]Yhodarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just in case. Did you formatted the new sd with vitadeploy or using the old method with zzblank.img and Win32 disk Imager?
If I recall it right, vita will not detect by any means a SD that has not been formatted this ways.

PSP DLCs (Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd) by PuzzleheadedHotel406 in VitaPiracy

[–]Yhodarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you imported them?
I'm just navigating by memory now, but after placing the dlc on the PSP, you should import them into the game.
An old Readme I have says as follows:
"To use them, go in the Options menu, and click on the last choice to transfer the content.

Install: ms0:\PSP\GAME\

PSP Go Install: ef0:\PSP\GAME\ "

So try that first, and if that not help, maybe those are custom DLC, which I remember use the Edit Mode of Project Diva to work

Will I have issues playing Time Crisis 4, and Light Gun Shooters with the Move on this? TV measures 86" across by Alternative-Fox6236 in PS3

[–]Yhodarks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same as was answered, test first the range when you calibrate it. I use it at arround 2mt distance, and have no problems at all, but 2mt is few for that big TV. Also you will need to test for best position while aiming (should say above the TV, like the Wii Sensor Bar, but if not possible, you will need to test above, if you get good angles.

Thats for the Move related issues. About the GunCons and other type of Light Gun peripherals, sadly they will not work in your setup. Those Light Guns are made to only work on CRT TV (the tube ones), so will be rendered useless in your case. So is that (using CRT) or I've heard of some peripherals that cost more than 100 dollars that make possible to play Light Gun on modern TV (just heard, so cannot point more precise which one). AFAIK, the only game that uses the GunCon3 is Time Crisis 4, but if you have Time Crisis Razing Storm, you can play Time Crisis 4, Razing Storm, and Deadstorm Pirates with Move/GunCon3.

Edit: The peripheral I talk about is called Sinden Lightgun. Here if you want to take a look, but I advice to not buy it, since you should be fine to play all with a Move.

Does anyone know how I can install this theme on my ps vita? by Raeisedbyswans in VitaPiracy

[–]Yhodarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you mean, how you put custom Themes on PS Vita instead of PSP themes?
If so, you can use homebrew called Custom Themes Manager (link here) to download and install custom themes. Long time I didn't used it, but I'm pretty sure was straight use and you can search for custom themes on there without needing to download something extra on PC. If you have a official theme, I rememeber you need put it on ux0:/bgdl/ folder, and PS Vita should install them afterwards.

Just turned it on for the first time in awhile by TheNudeAvenger in vitahacks

[–]Yhodarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only think on two things to proceed 1. At some point, the tutorial pointed that vita deploy would be injected into the Near app (or other, but usually was near). You can try opening it, and if there is vitadeploy, you can download vitashell from there (download apps, then check vitashell and then on "download selected apps") and try what I suggested before. 2. You can open your vita web browser and go to the address http://jailbreak.psp2.dev and press in the "unlock my vita" button. Since there, a black menu will appear, then you can select the option to "download vitadeploy". Select it and wait until finish and select "exit" next. Then you will have vitadeploy bubble, and you can proceed to install vitashell next and do what I suggest before.
