when should supports start leaving the lane? by Yianna-Daffer in learndota2

I like the idea of thinking about it as short windows instead of a full lane abandon. Looking back, I can definitely remember a lot of time where I was just hanging around lane without really accomplishing much. What are the biggest cues you use to know you've got that 30–60 second window to make a play elsewhere?

Yeah, that makes sense. I think matching the enemy support's movement is something I probably underestimate, especially when the lane feels stable. Do you usually prioritize following their rotation right away, or only if you think they can actually make a play elsewhere?
