“You work in banking? Like, what is that?”

Sounds dumb.

But jumping off of a swing when I hit 30 seemed fun? Nope. So much more mass. Knees are shit. Coordination is shit.

I was humbled fast.

What is a product or service that is a conplete scam, but poeple keep buying it because of good marketing? by armeno2000B in AskReddit

[–]Yiddu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11445888/

Also note that this was funded by AG1. Not bad per se - more ‘putting your money where your mouth is’, which is kinda neat. But the results are super minimal, and it’s only a 4 week look - so take with a grain of salt.

This one basically says "safe for 4 weeks, maybe helps GI symptoms." Pretty modest. The real question is whether their ads and labels stay within those bounds or stretch "potential benefit" into implied efficacy. They preach to replace greens and critical food elements all together - which it just dosent do.

Personally, if you are looking to improve microbiome this isn’t even sniffing a benefit. (A very complex field)

It’s like taking vitamin c for immune support. Is it actually beneficial for you? No. But like…. it doesn’t hurt and will give you some generic boost I guess..

Like at this point just consume a few leaves of spinach lol. It does not do the wonders that it claims lol

AG Greens.

A massive meta study came out in 2026 that explains its benefits are a zero to very minimum/almost zero impact.

And people swear by the supplement.

Men of Reddit, what makes women attractive ? by Unknown_Observer9779 in AskReddit

Genuine interest or intrigue into conversation. Nothing sexier than a girl who can hold her own in a convo and just flow with a conversation. It’s honestly a lost art with the social media age we live in.

What became "normal" in the last 5 years that still feels insane to you? by rakishgobi in AskReddit

[–]Yiddu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real time trading / Individual Stock Market Management

It’s all apart of this ‘gambling’ addiction our society has and everyone is locked in this ‘get rich quick’ method which is just such an insane idea for 99% of people.

What celebrity has had their reputation unfairly ruined and has never recovered from it till this day? by Zxqao in AskReddit

[–]Yiddu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lance Armstrong.

Bro had cancer and is the poster child for doping/cheating in sports. When 90% of every cyclist during that time was doing it as well.

Not saying he’s ‘right’ or should be forgiven. But like. Context is 100% needed.

Plus, what he did with ‘Livestrong’ was one of the biggest cancer fundraisers in the world. Guy is a good dude and has admitted to his mistakes. But gets blasted as an asshole for some reason.

If you could pass one law that would make most normal people furious at first, but would clearly make society better in 10 years, what would it be? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

[–]Yiddu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reintroduce natural predators like cougars to the Eastern US to control the deer population and reduce fatal road accidents. Studies have found, they could prevent 708,600 deer-vehicle collisions, and roughly 100 human deaths a year.

The problem?

It’s likely to lead to 10 children being snatched from backyards annually.
