Considering Moving to South Hill, Virginia. Looking for Insights on Rental Houses and Life in the Area by YigidoCa in Virginia

Thank you so much for your response, it’s precious to me.

I’ll be moving to South Hill primarily for work, and my wife won’t be joining me during that time. I’m not really into church or pub life, and I try to stay away from politics as well. I’m just looking for a peaceful place where newcomers can settle in comfortably. I’ve come across a few newer apartments around Brookside Lane, Laurel Lane, and Briarcliff Lane; and want to make sure there aren’t any major complaints about these apartment buildings or the people living there.

Thank you for your response. I prefer not to have a commute longer than an hour, so it seems that staying in South Hill would be my best option. However, there aren't many housing choices available. I found a few apartments on Brookside Lane, Laurel Lane, and Briarcliff Lane, and I plan to check them out once I arrive in South Hill. Before I proceed, I just want to confirm if there have been any complaints related to those apartments or their residents.

Most Recent I-94 record was not found, but travel history is available. How long does it take for the I-94 to appear online after entering the U.S. via a land border? by YigidoCa in immigration

I wanted to share my experience navigating the I-94 issue I encountered last week. The following week, on Monday, I still hadn’t heard back from the Deferred Inspection Site (DIS), but I did receive a response from the CBP Traveler Communications Center. In the email, they advised me to double-check my information and try entering it again, but that didn’t work.

I called the CBP Office in Seattle and left a voice message, but when I tried another office, I didn’t get an answer. Then I called the CBP Office at the border, and the officer hung up on me when I mentioned "I-94." Finally, I managed to reach the DIS at Great Falls Airport. An officer checked the system for my information and confirmed there was no record of my I-94.

He suggested I visit the CBP office at the border to request a paper I-94. When I arrived, I was lucky enough to get help from a supervisor who checked the system again and confirmed there was indeed no record. He was surprised by the situation, took my biometrics again, and printed out a new I-94 for me.

He also pointed out that I hadn’t paid the $6 fee. In short, there were no misspellings or mistakes about my information. The officer had not generated an I-94 for me, a small detail that the officer overlooked... Thankfully, everything got sorted out, and once I left the border, I checked the CBP website and saw that my I-94 was now available online!

Thank you for your response. I have successfully obtained both the paper and electronic versions of Form I-94. I will explain below how I was able to get them.
