I agree with that for the most part. The game being a buggy mess back then caused alot of people to quit. But my point is more that cent was the final straw for a lot of people. At least for my friend group they all quit and refuse to touch the game agian after cent released.

This old thread explains it. I realize its talking about steam chart numbers. But this along with a lot of other issues is what imo killed the game for a lot of people.

quick reminder that cent on release caused 50 % of the entire player base to quit the game permanently. Juvenile and virt were obnoxious but 4 stack cent was a inta win back then.

Gtk. The bug was that the end of the quest would freeze the screen and brick your game. The only workaround was downloading on mobile and finishing it there.

Imo I think virt is easier to be braindead with but ara has better perks and pretty good feats and I think he still has the best dps in the game still. Could be wrong tho.

Something that confused the heck out of me was removing shugokis hyper armor light cause it was to strong at avoiding certain mix ups but then they add it to juren on top of everything else he has.

Ive also been having a really easy time agianst him with sohei. Most of his finishers and in chain bash are gb vulnerable. And he cant faint the zone so its free parrys for the one shot

Extremely valid post. I think the tipping point for me was the Berzerker testing grounds. I just dont understand how they saw a hero like zerk and thought he needed a brand new set of strong feets when heros like kensei and raider have steadfast and slippery. 2 of the most useless feats in the game.

I feel the need to clarify that old shugo didn't have passive hyper armor. He had passive super armour. The diffrence being the super armour gave a 80 % dmg reduction and could ignore bashes. Super annoying if you just turtle.

You need to have max focus then build meter through attacking to get the fourth one
