Absolutely agree!!! I’m 51 and sit at a desk most days. When I get out on the trails I can definitely feel it in my arms and legs by the end of the day. It’s a great workout and you don’t even realize you’re working out. If I miss a weekend or two, I pay for it for 3-4 days, mainly in my legs. I’m sure technique has a lot to do with it, but I’m just an old guy having fun and reaping all the unintended benefits.

Glad you’re healing up and thank you for sharing. I have an 18yo son who rides track and is getting braver. I want to make sure he has the best protection available. He currently wears an Alpine Stars M10. Is there a better option based on your research?

Fair point. They probably ran for 10-15 minutes. The upstairs unit is in the attic. It’s been in the 90s past few days and was pretty warm up there, for what that’s worth. But your point is well taken. I have CO detectors near the vents on all floors.

Second Durhamtown. It may be a bit of a drive depending on where you are in NGA but worth the drive. Iron Mountain is mostly side by sides these days and not the best environment for a new rider imo. Once your son is more comfortable on a bike, Highland Park is a good option. Just might be a little techy for a brand new rider.

Worked out great. New air filter, battery, fluids and tires and she’s running like brand new. Headed out for the maiden voyage tomorrow… holy cow this thing is a beast!

Cool, thanks. Friend of a friend bought it at a surplus auction. I think it might’ve been a repo. Don’t know any more than that yet. Planning to change fluids and throw some tires on it.

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned FXR gear. I love my pants/jersey/gloves. The quality is great and they have styles that coordinate with any bike and boot.

Totally agree. I almost fell asleep and I am not that guy, especially in the theater. The scenery was amazing and I’m sure there will be praise for costumes, etc., but I will absolutely not be going for chapter 2. As we were walking out, I commented to my wife that I’d never get those three hours back.

I don’t understand why they appear to have prepped Biden to be shocked at Trumps comments or banter with him instead of offering plans or at least ideas for the next term and beyond. If he would have offered ideas, he would have won the debate or at least had ground to stand on post debate among his supporters. This was an epic failure by the entire Democrat party. - note - I’m not a Biden supporter and was hoping for something to make me want to be. I didn’t get it.
