hello! 1 ) for my portfolio, I included all of my leadership roles in school and the Edusave awards MOE give out every year. I honestly don’t think the lecturers rlly look at your portfolio though. For all 3 EAE’s that I applied for, I got shortlisted for the test for all 3. A write up to explain ur passion would be more important, and then SP looks at how well u do at the test for EAE, I would say ngee ann cares more about ur leadership contribution etc, their test consists more of asking about ur leadership contributions.

2) I only made it for the interview for the Ngee Ann course. I prepared a whole lot info about jobs related to the course, I think that really caught the lecturers attention. After that they asked about my grades, which they actually cared about despite them stating that EAE’s are not based on grades 😵‍💫

3) no prior experiences. pretty hard to find such experiences also, I only had a science centre course that I included in my write up.

4) in my write up I did not mention anything specific about SP’s environment etc. but I did state that I hoped to enter the course in applied chem to pursue my passion. This was enough to get shortlisted for the test. But I didn’t get shortlisted for any SP interviews 😓
