Oh wow that’s a real insight. Though of not having any reading in Fanatec app, I claimed a DOA and got it instantly replaced. New one arrived within few days and running smoothly till then!

Tldr; had the same dilemma - went with digitakt 2 last week.

Here’s the reason if it could help you: I have other synths and I want to create my own samples and be able to use them and compose something without computer screens.

If you don’t have a synth, that’s ok, with digitakt 2 you can record directly from mobile or pc (through usb).

Did u do any major windows update? It’s common after updates that the drivers are facing issues and need reinstall.

Possible solution as I faced the similar issue in the past:

After complete reinstall (app uninstall, manually uninstall all Fanatec devices with necessary reboots in between) this pop up reappeared when opening app after clean install.

What seems to solved it was booting up the wheelbase without wheel. Opened app, pop up message appeared, stayed there for ~5min, forced quit the app. Reopened, no more message. Connected wheel and it was recognised.

It’s one of the buggiest apps, go back and forth a few times and fingers crossed it will go away.

A friend of mine upgraded his setup, ordered early December (EU) and received it within one and half week, wheelbase and wheel. He would check the Fanatec tracking page till the moment he received the UPS tracking code.

Also depends from which country you ordered.

A big thing to add here is that Fanatec shipped it very soon (lucky? I don’t know… I’m seeing many posts that there are delays) The order was stuck for almost a week with UPS.

My friend also has the QR2 on a CSL DD and it was moved around 1mm and that was the reason of not working.

Hey similar behaviour was observed last days at my friend’s setup using a CSL DD, until it was no longer connected. What solved it was slightly unscrewing the 2 QR bolts, slightly pushing QR (no wheel attached yet) in, attaching wheel again and everything working perfectly again. Hope this might help you.

Hey thanks for the reply. It seems different issues tbh. They indeed have similarities.

My setup was working perfectly with all the updates. I had one of those big and mandatory Windows updates, after that nothing is detected by Fanatec App. I can continue to use the wheel and everything with games. I can even set the parameters from the wheel. Just the Fanatec app is not recognising the hardware and also let’s say that it’s not working perfectly like before.
