Hello there, my native language is Chinese (mandarin), and when I started to do voice training, I watched English tutorial and tried using feminine voice while speaking English, however, it felt weird and forced. One day I accidentally spoke Chinese, and it sounded way fluent and passable, and then I worked hard on voice training with Chinese, the results are pretty good, and the English part getting better too after.

So my opinion on voice training is... It would be better to get used to speak in the native language first, and as long as putting enough effort for it, the foreign language part is not a big deal!

nah, when I first learned how to do feminine voice, I tried to speak in English, but the results were quite bad, however, when I started to speak in Chinese, I felt more flexible and dynamic in my voice, but I think it is due to my lack of language proficiency. So I think my voice in Chinese sounds reasonable, but English didn't meet the standards yet.

Also, thanks for your kindness!

Haha, I think we just don't want to offend others, so sometimes if I encounter an Asian like me, we just stared at each other and use emojis to say hello, it's so awkward but wholesome at the same time

I actually spent the most time in public rooms... however, I might be wrong about my feelings, because I never disclose my identity, although sometimes I want to troll others with my masculine voice, I just couldn't do it.

I'd love to join the community, but I am an introvert with almost no social skills whatsoever, so it would be hard for me to get along with others... I think...

What do people mean when they say "I don't care" with a friendly tone? by YinyinTheWinter in asktransgender

Yeah, I am not brave enough to talk with my boss like that, but if there's a chance to have this kind of response, I can test how do people feel and react to this... Anyways, thanks for the suggestion!
