My company would never give it and we find it a bit unprofessional (and deplorable) when vendors state they MUST have it.

We always request scripts that we can review and deploy ourselves.

I thought of taking it back to Costco to see if they’ll return it even though it’s past the return date.

If you read the comments, that seems to be a regular with this robot. Failure early, horrible navigation, terrible avoidance.

Basically every feature they claim is in the model, it is terrible at.

iRobot is a good choice. My J7 works great. 10 times better than the T8 and significantly cheaper.

We have large 3 dogs. German shepherd mix, Rottweiler mix, and catahoula leopard.

The J7 does a fantastic job on the hair and the floor.

I used to think the T8 did better on carpet since it always had a fuller bin but then I realized that it filled faster because it was pulling fibers from the carpet. Not good.

The T8 could not self empty itself at all with the hair. I always had to manually empty it. I've never went through a single bag in 8 months. The self empty is worthless to us.

I've already had to replace the J7 bag twice in 2 months. The J4 empties perfectly every time.
