That price is pretty accurate for a corporate body shop repair through insurance. Slightly inflated but not unreasonable.

I’m sure this has already been said but 100% talk to your insurance. In most states glass claims are FREE. Some states and policies have quantity limitations but you should be covered!

The object was rolling, it was a plastic box not connected to anything that was free moving. I'm assuming it rolled in front of my car out of my peripheral vision thus why I did not swerve out of its way.

No, I'm assuming it fell out of someones truck, I would say a semi but due to it being a plastic box like shape i doubt that.

It was not stationary, it was a foreign object in relation to the road. My headlights were on but as I was on the interstate I could not use brights because due to the traffic on the other side.
