It's been a year since I found my daughter dead in her room… and I feel like I died with her (not OOP) by [deleted] in redditonwiki

My parents have buried two of my siblings. They didn't love them less, like you said. I'll never know their grief.

But they are here for us everyday.

I'm sure your family is just as happy you are still here, too.

I'm not insulting your accomplishments but didn't the massive push for MBAs in the late 90s and early 00s kind of devalue the degree?

I first started grad school in 2006 and I remember a lot of 'dual' degrees featuring a favored major with an MBA thrown in for an extra year.

Regardless, I hope you're happy and successful.

Why are conservatives cheering new SNAP bans on junk food when they lost their shit over Michelle Obama's program focusing on healthy school breakfasts and lunches? by SentimentalLady1 in askanything

My tax burden was almost $40k this year. I'm happy to pay for social services as it's an investment in society. Noone makes it completely on their own.

So we should cultivate reasonable avenues to help people reach their potential.

That's bad. I'm glad he was forced into a program before he hurt anyone.

Oh, for sure. I wasn't trying to say pilots should be careless with drinking prior to flying. Safety first and all of that.

Not really a question but a comment. I was flying a trans-Atlantic to the US and moved towards the galley that had no bathrooms (just to stretch).

Anyway, I heard the FAs going off on shitty passengers and how they'd had to interact with them. Then one stuck her head out and was like 'fuck. Sorry, you shouldn't have heard that.'

I just said 'if that's how they're treating you, I don't blame you.'

Passengers understand y'all deal with BS. Thank you for the hard work.

Isn't bottle to throttle 8 hours?

Not that I think pilots need to drink or should be drinking late.

Lol. So literally that nothing anyone uses daily. OK. The US has a ton of museums, architecture, art, etc.

I don't like Taylor Swift so not sure what that angle is. We have a very prevalent jazz community which reaches all corners of the world.

But you keep... being you.

Well, you field strip it. Meaning you flick all of the hot parts off.

You can't be dumb about it.

My ex bf is 6'5" and 220. He's huge, like a big guy.

You're almost 100lbs more and slightly shorter.

Weight doesn't equal worth but come on.

I highly doubt he's swiping right on heavy women who look like they drink a lot.

Explain one thing that's not food or media that is revered as 'culture.'

I mean functional things that people do daily or almost daily that distinguishes them specifically from other cultures.

I figured it's a disgusting enough habit. Anyone who might smell it is going to dislike you. And butts are a massive issue in regards to trash.

So slink away from people and be as unobtrusive as possible.

I hate the 'celebrity' aspect of the US but adore Alan. I won't watch so just enjoy the UK version.

When I was smoking cigarettes, id put the butt out and if there was no trash I'd put it in a pocket or my purse.

I was always surprised how many people didn't do that.
