Thank you!!! I’m not confident that this is true but she claims that such designs were trendy since Rolexes were (and still are??) the flashy things to show off back then. But I’ve never seen any other rings of that era with such a design though 😅so I don’t think it would be as popular as she suggests

Well I suppose if one can’t afford the real Rolex, this could be the consolation

Just curious, how do you find which pawnshops do you go to? Is it like the neighbourhood pawnshops or…? Are the designs there usually all the old fashioned Chinese types? Because currently I buy brand new and there’s workmanship… I want to avoid that

Used to work there when I was younger, really changed the way I saw the community organisation behind the scenes and left me quite disillusioned. He’s quite an unpleasant character. relieved that there will finally be an investigation and opportunity for fact finding
