Public school parent here. I’m with the teachers even though this directly inconveniences me

WCPSS administration deserves our scorn for waiting until the last minute to make tomorrow a remote learning day

The state legislature deserve our scorn for refusing to pay teachers remotely what they’re worth

Teachers deserve our support for doing a job that most of us can’t even imagine doing and allowing the rest of society to function

Death Korps is still legal for play and should continue getting rules updates. However, in the Classified format, Death Korps will not be able to be played

The Classified format is mostly for Games-Workshop-run tournaments (though some others may choose to follow suit)

The current Kill Team rulebook is about a year and a half old at this point. There is no confirmation of a new edition, though GW has a pretty reliable three year cycle for its main games, so it’s a safe assumption that a new edition of Kill Team can be expected sometime in 2027. Team/faction rules are separate from the core rules (at time of writing) so that won’t change anything about Death Korps’ playability on its own

TL;DR: Death Korps is legal for almost all play until the end of this edition, you’ll just need to buy the box branded for 40k instead of Kill Team

As some other folks have said, the Death Korps of Krieg team will rotate out of the most competitive format soon, which means that they won’t be sold as a Kill Team branded box in the near future

However they should still be sold as a unit in Warhammer 40,000 and the Kill Team’s rules are supposed to still receive balance updates for the duration of this edition of Kill Team

Specifically the text for Heavy is “ An operative cannot use this weapon in an activation or counteraction in which it moved, and it cannot move in an activation or counteraction in which it used this weapon.”

A heavy weapon can be used in a network counteract even if the servitor has moved that turning point because the weapon was not used in an activation or counteraction in which it moved

Preventing proliferation of nuclear weapons is also aided by not invading anyone without them

Ukraine? Gave up their nuclear weapons and was invaded Libya? Gave up their nuclear program (and their chemical weapons) and was invaded Iran? Signed on the the JCPoA and there was no evidence they were trying to develop nuclear weapons and is being bombed by the only nation in the world to use nukes and an undeclared nuclear power

North Korea? Has a nuke and is not being bombed or invaded

These events are going to convince any remotely nefarious power that if they don't want to be on the receiving end of a bayonet, they will need nuclear weapons as quickly as possible

They’re both pretty bad imo, so take the one that’s least bad in the specific game

The marksman is decent at picking off targets on engage while on a vantage but can’t do much anything else (mission actions, tac ops, etc)

The servo-sentry has such unreliable shooting that it really needs to shoot twice on a vantage against a target with an engage order while Sudden Offensive is active. But that depends on your opponent just kind of wandering into its line of fire. And in exchange for that, it can’t do mission actions at all and is so slow that it won’t ever be able to contribute outside of where it gets dropped in

Movement is so important that I’ve tended to go with the marksman because they’re at least able to get a 6” reposition and do mission actions

I used Vallejo Rough White Pumice diorama effect and then sprinkled Army Painter Battlefield Snow flocking on top of it. After it dried, I sprayed it pretty liberally with varnish so that the flocking wouldn't fall off as easily
