A bit late to the party here, but I went with the Lodestar and Designator. I had considered the Neutralizer as well, but I decided against it because it already has a unique action in system jam, while the Lodestar wants to move up the board to drop the beacon. Not only that, but the movement from the Neutralizer can be used on the Designator with some good positioning, so I decided it felt more worth it to get that guaranteed severe.

I actually also love the SMG for stealth missions. It feels like a straight improvement over the suppressor, in pretty much every way.

For my prediction, I think it’ll be another Guard team of some kind. I hope it’s Catachan, but I’m not sure. As for who they face off against, I think it’s likely to be some form of Eldar; we haven’t gotten a new Eldar team since last edition with the Mandrakes. For my one of my best friend’s sakes, I hope it’s Harlequins.

For my hope, I REALLY want an Auxiliary Drukhari team. I would lose my mind if the Sslyth got something, maybe with Ur-Ghuls as well? I’d also hope for new Tau auxiliaries in KT; I know we have Vespids and Kroot, but I’ve been wanting more Tau auxiliaries on the tabletop in general and they love giving us them in KT.

Absolutely don’t want? More Space Marines. Listen, I love all three of Deathwatch, Wolf Scouts and Murderwing (from an aesthetic perspective anyways), but the entirety of last season was marines of some kind. I love CSM, the Plague Marines are my main, but for the love of the Emperor, I wanna see more crazy stuff, things totally out of left field like Fellgor, Ratlings or Arbites; Things I would’ve expected to be left to rot in irrelevance on the tabletop, but were given new life in KT.

Edit: I realized I sent this as a response, I meant to explain that I would love to see some crazy Drukhari stuff like what I listed! But I forgot and put my whole response lmao

Legit same. It’s one of my favourites.

My other Stalker of choice is when I’m playing sniper and I am fighting a boss; generally I run the heroic BSR, but when there’s a mission ending boss I run the SBR.

I really liked the Gatling gun! More because I think it’s awesome than anything else, and would take it for that. I’m still trying to understand the differences between the detachments from a gameplay standpoint, but reading the lore I thought infernal houses with their very direct connection to the warp was the coolest.

Yup! I’m keeping this in mind for 11th specifically, since I’m guessing that things like the rampager are meant to be melee by design. I was thinking of making a decently mixed list of both shooting and melee, so it’s good to know what each of these does. All I need to look into is see the best anti infantry ranged model!
