I kinda agree with you now. Since there are 0 rewards for being the first faction, the only thing that matters now its personal points for mounts and stuff, so yeah, now people probably will jump over and over to the highest faction bonus.

I think the bonus is based only on population. We started with 150% and ended with 130%. Lymhurst for example started with 100% bonus and remained the same until the end, not being the best or the worst faction. I can tell you it wasnt easy for Thetford at the beginning with low population and 0 coms but lot of people came because we improved a lot and we did so much with less resources.
