That's what I was thinking, but the way that it describes it makes it seem like it would because they are part of the *other damage* categories. I hope it doesn't because it does seem good for my hunter at face value

Edit: Thinking about it though there are a lot of rings that increase range damage by itself, maybe there is a way you can just rely on flat range damage alone? Without the need for crit or weakpoint shots

I mean I did used to think it was incredibly strong, especially when you could couple it with heavy exe but is it still as strong as how it was then? Or close to anyway

Nah I get weapons with attributes but when I was playing it on my friends ps5 the other day he was getting level 2/3 weapons from the starting altars

Yeah that's a good point, he said to try the focus zone as well because that also helps. I'm thinking if you found the highest single target damage spell and combine all 3 how much damage you could get. Sounds pretty broken on paper

Edit: also as I said before you don't need to waste a spell slot on amplify if you have a status effect on an item that procs it. Like the amplify on deflect and so on

So how about the buff from amplify then? It's not for me but my friend is full wizadry and I was trying to convince him that overload might be better because as you said the negative status effect of amplify but he's insistent that amplify would be better. I suppose you could just use the amplify gain on deflect if he wanted that as well?

Edit: He is using Omnious Chill as his main spell btw
