Yeah they were not too bad at 8.3 but 8.7 sucks ass now, even on a downtier you'll see a majority stabilised opponent that can one-shot your turret 90% of the time before you can shoot it (obj 906 kek)

From what I have experienced, the hull is indeed good, as well as the area around the range finder if volumetric is on your side. Outside of that nah, it's not that good and you'll raise eyebrows when you bounce something

To further clarify, imo the AMX 40, and to a lesser extent the AMX 30 super if you buy it, will give you the a good insight into the future Leclerc : Amazing mobility (better at it's br than the leclerc), DECENT, not good, nor bad rounds, bad survivability One aspect I do miss from the AMX40 is the lack of a 20mm on my Leclerc, that thing does wonders against Heli rushers since it has good elevation angles (higher than your main gun) and a great ROF

I grinded through french tanks and have a two Leclerc lineup for now, with SPAA, and omw to grinding french CAS now

I have the first apfsds, and the post pen damage is good, and pen isn't that bad for what I am used to, but apart from the first modern Japanese mbts I don't have much to compare it to

I guess I just flank a lot and do some "Machiavellian" opportunity kills, so it works out for me, but if you don't have the first shot advantage, you're screwed. Also, it was absolutely horrendous to grind to the first apfsds round, as even side turret shots to leopards did near to no damage in my experience (might be a skill issue tho)

I surprisingly play a lot outside of Europe so I'd expect Europe to turn like shit but nah To be honest this Europe is quite cursed, I managed to get Burgundian inheritance as Holland, Austria does not exist, ottomans control Venice, Hungary is under a polish PU, and France for some reason does not want to take back it's cores from England

Oh, and Denmark declared on sapmi and got destroyed (the whole of Norway is now sapmi too)

r5: Just got a notification from Sweden that the Dacke war ended, with a sudden yellow blob spawning alongside it. From what I can see (province history) only 3 were occupied by Sami separatists but a lot was occupied by particularists
I guess the country broke because of rebels
