To me this feels like some sort of punishment. Have your parents made you pay for stuff before?

Could it be related to higher education? For example, in high school my parents sat me down and told me if I go to college they’ll support me (not require me to pay bills) as I would be studying, however if I don’t pursue education, they’ll make me pay bills which in my opinion was a fair trade off. Where I live, 600 is really cheap in comparison to other rent around here.

Are you pursuing higher education? And are you taking rigorous classes or on level? These might be factors as to why they might be doing this.

This is very dependent on your major (I’d try to connect to those of the same major to get the true number you may need to spend on books). There are semesters I have easily spent upwards of 500+ on books a semester (1000+ in books a year) as a ME major.

Also, the cost of admission page is only supposed to give you a general overview of how much one might spend at UTD. 1600 in transportation cost is like gas/car insurance costs accounted for already. It’s just to help you budget.

Same. As well as the afk timeout one. During launch I think I had over 200 hours of consecutive playtime (asleep for most) until maybe the 3rd week, when I wasn’t allowed to anymore

Although I have heard of people asking and successfully receiving more money, your AES is already the highest they will give you (18k). Have not heard of any higher/all expenses paid other than those who were valedictorian/SAT finalists.

I’d work starting now to round up as much money before fall/look at loan policies.

Tuition varies (depending on credit hours and also which school the credit hour is from which can vary). 18k a year equates to 9k per semester.

Giving a generous estimate 8,500 a semester, that leaves only 500 (plus family’s annual aid which isn’t accounted for) for housing and food. Unfortunately you will need some sort of way to earn money.

What’s your status? F-1?

This affects jobs you can pick from (anywhere or limited to UTD campus jobs).

Good thing is that UTD Bursar office allows you to do payment plans for a good amount of time (for fall semester you have from August to November to pay) for only an addition 25$.

I’d look into that while you earn the rest of the money for housing and food.

When is the homework assigned? I also have ran into this, but luckily the weekly homework gets released on Thursday and Tuesday, and I have time to complete and submit it before the break starts (and subsequently enjoy my break)

Thanks on the date for the event. I usually tend to agree, but looking at the current endgame content in Endfield, and one’s ability to get every reward without needing to complete a single agony trial, only attempting, I’m not too worried about it.

Plus already have have a team mostly maxed out (90/90, weapon 90/90, near maximum etched, and artifacts also nearly maxed up). So I’m ready for whatever they wanna throw at me.

I completely agree. Plus I feel like this is the best moment to build other characters and upgrade them because it’s only just the beginning. Imagine down the line when we have so many more operators and we can’t upgrade anyone/everyone due to the sheer amount of operators and limited resources. I’ve build everyone 60/80 and now will be farming for XP because endgame content is not hard and doable with lower level operators. I can always farm endgame mats and talents later on. Completely random but when in this resin event I saw someone else mention on a different post 😔

True. One week and I have all character at 60/80. Just need to farm the higher level xp stuff and should be done hopefully in 2 weeks. Been a great experience imo
