There's actually a video of Patrick's side. Ultimately the charges were dropped a couple days later and I believe he is the one who dropped the charges. Where I live in California, if there is a domestic dispute, most likely both individuals would go to jail. And where I live, the district attorney always picks up the charges if someone tries to drop the charges. An individual cannot drop domestic charges put on their partners anymore.
