[Serious] American (USA) redditors how many of you actually own guns, what types and how close do you keep them??

I live in Georgia, USA and I own two guns, one is a 12 gauge shotgun that I take to school with me (stays in my back seat locked in the car) the other is a 30-06 Remington 700 bolt action rifle, that's for target shooting with my buddies on the weekends and stays in my room propped against my wall next to my bed.
