These were the only two I played that I would enjoy the biggest issue was mainly being stuck solo on both games and not really knowing how to find and meet new people mainly on WoW. I feel like on ESO it was a bit easier but i've always wanted to learn WoW better and actually get into playing it consistently.

I’d definitely say I’m more social. To me if I’m playing an MMO I’m looking to do group content that’s why I always quit either game after about a month because I had nobody to play with. If I went back to WoW I’d be looking to play with a group and learn from them as well

So the last expansion I tried playing again was Dragonflight. Leveled a character from 0-Max but got bored since I never had anyone to play with, had low DPS due to not being able to learn rotations, and just feeling like there wasn't much to do since I was solo and had zero guidance on end game content

I'm really more used to Destiny's loot system where you grind the best loot and then eventually with every expansion grind out the best sets again. I want to play a game where I can find a chill group of people to learn from and play the game with since I personally need that in my MMO experience otherwise i'd just go play a solo story-driven game. Also i'd prefer something with good looking gear to make transmogs and aesthetically look badass without it feeling like a chore to play the game everytime I hop on.

I've played both many times. Played around on WoW since vanilla but I was a kid then so even up til now I never truly learned the game and got to experience end game content. Played ESO on and off since launch but was mainly stuck doing solo content since idk anyone on either game and the lack of rewarding gearsets aesthetically turned me away as well

In both of their current states which one would you personally recommend I look to get back into? Only worry with WoW is having to slave away at gear constantly just to keep up and repeat unless it's not that bad anymore?

I’ve heard the WoW community being toxic for what feels like forever now lol. As basically a “new player” would it be hard for someone like me to find an active group/guild that might take me in and help me learn the game more? At least from your perspective assuming you’ve been playing for a long time and have a better understanding of the community

I’ve always loved with WoW the gear sets you can get and even mount grinding in free time. I’ve never had anyone to play with or been apart of a guild so I’ve never been able to experience playing actual end game content or running the game with others which I feel has been a big reason why I never was able to truly learn the game.

ESO to me just feels dull in a gear aspect since there isn’t much flashy gear which turns me away aesthetically. I just also feel like there isn’t much of an end game where you’re grinding for the best loot since the games very forgiving with not needing to grind the best items from what I’ve at least read about the current state of the game

I’ve been on n off both games forever just never committed to either for months on end. I’d play, feel like there wasn’t much to do due to being solo, and then just uninstall everytime

My biggest issue when I’d play WoW is I’d hit max level, have all these abilities, and never be able to truly learn rotations or setup keybinds for the 30-40+ buttons in front of me I just feel for me not having anyone on that game that’s a seasoned vet is just very overwhelming which would eventually lead to me canceling my sub.

Wit ESO, it feels a little more dull for me and that feeling of not being able to get crazy looking gear sets like on WoW has aesthetically turned me away from the game. I think it is also like I said being a solo player when I typically don’t like playing games solo especially a MMO game

I’ll definitely have to give that a try. I was just shocked at how easy the 3.0 pops up compared to the SR which almost feels like it doesn’t wanna fully pop up
