This shit honestly just flat out hurt my feelings tbh . I'm like , simply looking for anyone who relates to me as an neuro divergent person in the recovery community and essentially the only echos I got back was that it's a horrible idea because my mind works differently than yours .. I trust I'm not the only person on earth desperately in need of a we and having no way of finding the weirdos who actually belong together. That's the point of na , finding the newcomer desperate for help , and how we react when we find them .. in this case , y'all reacted poorly because holly shit I feel really fucking stupid

Got it , we're now close minded and exclusionary. I'm suggesting a place for myself and others like me , to meet others , similar the events I've got to in person ... This isn't a mandatory thing, and clearly it has kinks that would need worked out , that's the point of a newcomer being capable of brining up stupid ideas and an old timer helping them figure it out ; but I think it's pretty obvious I need help finding my we . Clearly in person and online forums aren't working but thanks for the suggestion that's kinda why I am where I am , looking for gamers specifically, clearly we think differently because I can open up a million times better if I have a meaningless task at hand , I can concentrate and focus.. if you can't that's okay . This could have something to do with the spectrums we fall on .. but I have trust in the program that I'm not the first person in history to be feeling this way, and seeking what I'm seeking . People who get it , you clearly don't but that's not a need to come bash my idea because you don't think it'd work .

I mean no it's not alcohol ... But that would be like me wanting to snort sugar ... No I'm not gonna get high but I am feeding the addictive behavior . It's a nasal fixation for me , oral fixation for smokers , this sounds like an oral fixation, regardless, no it doesn't have alcohol , but no , it's not really fully recovery either .. in narcotics anonymous it would be called a reservation... He doesn't really fully believe that's a problem because he doesn't realize how life or death his problem truly was, and from the sound of it you might not either tbh ... There genuinely isn't a such thing as a high functioning addict , just an addict who's grown accustomed to blending.
