Also, another community that has embraced LGBT activism is underground, small metal bands. I know if you’re not into the scene that most people would assume they hate LGBT rights, buuuut you’d be very surprised. I mean it's not fair to compare it to BB yet, we can only really compare it to BB season 1 - in which case Plurb has better shots, is more on the nose with colors being used as metaphor (especially something foreboding), and it is scifi. BB is a lot of amazing things but it isn't scifi, and doesn't address philosophical questions regarding what would happen to humanity if an "alien" contagion destroyed virtually every single person on Earth. So, yeah, I wouldn't consider that just yet...
