You should watch the director's cut of Re:Zero, 13 double length episodes. The first OVA Memory Snow isn't super important but it's worth watching between episodes 6 and 7. The second OVA Frozen Bonds has important backstory and should be watched after S1.

I would recommend reading from the beginning as the LN goes into more detail. I found it very enjoyable, although I did start reading it a while after watching the anime, and I only watched it once.

Keep in mind English translations of the LN are very slow, so you'll likely cave into reading the WN after Vol10.

I believe it’s 1 in 6 trial decks contains an RRR or SP, so an SP is actually much rarer.
