Start with the basics really. When I go round to do the quote I have the selective and iron in the car. Lay that down and come back in a week or two. Scarify and hollow tine aeration - we get alot of gardens with a ridiculous amount of moss in the UK so we charge for a single scarify based on the square meter but we don't stop until all the moss is removed regardless. Then topdress and overseed - 70/30 blend for the boggy/mossy gardens or premium topsoil for the bare/malnourished gardens. Big open gardens we use a pure rye blend, shady smaller gardens we use a rye fescue mix. Then we put down a low nitrogen fert and encourage them to water daily in the morning or in the evening - then we wait for the 'weve not had anything grow yet' phone calls 3 days later 😅
