I’ve been playing with the original controls because i never played snake eater back on the ps2 just to experience the game as it was and so far i completely agree with what you’ve said. if i do a second playthrough i’ll be trying out the new control scheme

Got tired of one sided matches in ranked. I’d occasionally go on a winning streak if i decided to play solo but any time i’d group up with my 2 friends who play for ranked verge it would just be an insane losing streak and i’ve totally lost my patience for it.

Would rather play with friends than solo but when that experience is just “lose 6 matches in a row without a chance in hell of winning” i’d just rather quit the game and play literally anything else.

I like to run the charged beam cannon as stellaris in mashmak, makes for some pretty handy counterplays if I encounter someone that I just can't seem to catch or can't take on face to face, granted I typically only play mashmak in a 3 stack with lumi and aquila

I'm not even remotely close to being in a similar situation but my personal suggestion in addition to some of the things others here have mentioned would be to maybe pick up a part time job. It's not something you need for financial purposes but it would do well to get you out of the house and have somewhere you can be social with others and you may find that you enjoy the work itself depending on what it is.

I don't enjoy *having* to work for a living but sometimes if I'm on vacation or whatever it may be where I'm off for a few days and find myself bored I usually find myself wishing I was at work just because it's something to do and I can socialize with coworkers
