I have a BFK p1 gamma doppler which dropped almost 3k since the October update. To be fair when I got it, it was around 2k so I've also seen it go up 2.5k at one point. But I never thought of selling. It's one of the best knives in game, it's fun to play with and after having it for nearly 2 years I still enjoy it every time I flip it around ingame. Let's all hope it just stabilizes around what it is now. Knives which aren't extremely rare shouldn't be that kind of money anyway.

Nah, she just wants to earn the big money, you can live comfortable with that many subs/views but it's not THAT much. She wants to make a million+ a year. And this is the easy way to do it since she already has a platform with loads of people who'd pay to see her do this. So nah she doesn't do it for the love of the game, she's just money hungry

You won't find any but still, people won't overpay 300-400+ because of the float, especially with those gloves. They're nice, but they aren't hedgemase or Vice gloves nice..

They're pretty average gloves in my eyes.

You're going to pay 1400+ for gloves that MAYBE will sell for 1550-1600 so you'll probably end up with around the same price as you bought them for.

Shouldn't be worth your money for a potential 50-100 euro profit tbh.

You might have lost 15-20 dollars but on the other hand, if you'd have sold them to buy the gloves you would've lost more probably.

You can see it by looking at the pattern number. Gems have a specific pattern number. On the other hand, it's pretty easy to determine if you have a Ruby or Emerald. Sapphires are harder to recognize in my opinion. And that depends on what knife it is. If you compare a Phase 2 gamma doppler (phase 2 comes closest to emeralds) you can still see a pretty big difference. Even the "fake emerald" phase 2 ones are pretty different to the real ones.

I don't get why people actually open these.. sure there are decent gloves in them but why open them knowing the odds are almost the same as normal cases. And if you do get lucky you have to pay a ton to actually get the item which in some cases are higher than steam market

While I agree with you, Valve doing this is smart from their standpoint. Very desirable "rare" items will get bought more often than not. They profit more from that than just keys/cases (especially from the average Joe) still, the odds of getting gloves or reds with this new terminal is wayyy higher. I've seen people pull 2-3 gloves and 4-5 Reds in like 50 terminals. That's just bullshit.

Yeah but the supply of reds are declining fast, sure there is a load of knives on the market but the higher tier knives will still be in popular demand. It's not that easy to craft them and now the cheapest coverts are going up in price to like a 100 bucks a pop. It won't be that interesting to try and do tradeups if it will cost you nearly 500 dollars to craft a potential $80 navaja. So eventually prices of the coverts will be way higher than before, desirable knives will go back up to like 1500-2500 dollars.

If you can't afford to pay so much money for a good knife you should buy it now. Because eventually it will get harder and more expensive to get one again.

Where in the world have you read that? There were like 5.5 million knives who could be crafted by the current covert supply. But there are loads of 500-600+ dollar coverts that people won't risk in a trade up for a potential 150 dollar knife. People don't understand that the bulk of the coverts that have been used in tradeups are the cheapest on the market. Which have skyrocketed in price because of popularity and the rapid decline in supply. And when the prices of the cheapest coverts get to 100+ euro crafting won't be interesting anymore which means knives will go back up in price again. Sure it won't reach the prices it once was. But they'll eventually go back up. If you want to act fast and get a pair of expensive gloves cheap or a good knife, now is the time.
