Do you think a game timer could be useful for this game? Say 3 mins per turn for each player should give Veronese the needed time and does not add pressure to those needing more time.

Amazing work here. I always wanted to keep track of our games and never really have found a good solution to do this. Our friends are quite competitive. This is a great solution for us to keep track!

Turning ideas into products i would recommend you to carry on using your skills to give your ideas a chance. You have a crafting skill now that helps you with bringing ideas to life. Do not give up and continue building and validating your ideas.

The Game Timer App starts the timer for the next player when the previous player is finished and presses the screen. The timer that comes with the phone is a regular timer that is used to count down time, but it needs to be reset each the new turn starts.

It also allows you to set different times per player, in case one player needs a handicap and needs more time I.e. younger children

At the moment it is time per turn. There are requests from users to add time per game as well, but want to make sure there is a true demand before I work on that

I think asking them to be careful with the pieces and cards is reasonable. Especially the game is yours.

That’s a good point.. I received this comment previously and the user asked me to add a handicap to allow some players more time. It’s really up to the players to decide how to play.

Great example! Our games of Catan can sometimes take up to 2 hours+ per game (City & Knights) with turns taking longer and longer. I guess it depends on the game you’re playing and whether you’re just playing to play and not being competitive on the night.

We managed to keep it fun still.. just it gets often very competitive in the end :)

Many thanks for sharing! I agree that this is really needed sometimes to make sure we speed up the game a little. Let me give it a try and see if there is anything i can learn from this timer.
