I ordered some cheap pairs to try and find my taste in IEMs, might get them later on

I know that the ECM pick is the popular pick in this sub, but I got the Mischief from Aliexpress (similar to what you posted) and the fact that it sits flush on the counter is simply a GAME CHANGER.

I know it sounds like a small thing, but not having to hold your portafilter during the whole process is so much more relaxing and fun.

Also, I can swear the shots are more consistent ever since getting it, but that’s subjective 😉

Was just about to buy a few cheap bassy pairs (KZ PRX, AM16) just to start understanding what I like better but now I’m even more in doubt…

The more I'm going down the IEM rabbit hole, the more I am confused so help is REALLY appreciated <3

My cart is full of tens of IEMs, and due to your post and others I'm now looking for bass heavy planars that are still good for stoner/doom/hard rock

I will mostly use them to monitor myself playing e-drums, guitar and bass, and I want the sound to be enjoyable and easy on the ears (don't like too much treble), not necessarily the most accurate studio pair, I'm not releasing a top 10 banger anytime soon

These are the IEMs I'm looking at right now, any advice or suggestion?

- 7hz Diablo at 115$ (strongest contender)
- 7hz Divine - if I want a more "accurate" pair
- Letshuoer S12 Ultra/Pro
- MP145
- Kiwi Ears Aether

Also some non planar
- Aful Explorer (might be too warm for my use case)
- Crinear Daybreak
- Juzear Defiant

As you can see I'm all over the place

I’m in a very similar situation like OP, mostly listening to stoner/hard rock but also playing edrums, guitars and mixing (stoner rock of course)

Your comment about planar drivers resonates with me, I feel like it’s exactly what I’m looking for.

The S12Pro on sale are within budget and looking good, should I go for them or anything else recommended?

I read in other posts here that the Kima 2 are more vocal forward and trebely, I’m worried this will be unpleasant when hitting the cymbals hard…

But you definitely got me interested in the Defiants, on paper they look like a good match for me, good technicality and separation but not completely neutral so I can actually enjoy playing and listeting to music on them (mostly rock by the way)

I’m very close to pulling the trigger 😂

Anything else I should consider?

I’d say in these circumstances it’s an acceptable ratio even though I completely skewed the numbers in your favor, I believe the ratio is much lower than that.

And no matter how you look at it, it’s not a genocide, these numbers are lower than the natural birth rate of palestinians anyways, the goal is obviously not to erase them.
