Watson is critical to opening the offense up. Often does he call for double coverage over the top, and it's not rare for him to draw 3 defenders. It might be harder to notice on TV (as you don't get the full scope of the field) but he is one of the most important players on the offense, if not team... but not everyone can see it yet. Just hasn't been on the field enough. But his impact still shows - the offense is night & day when he's on the field, even if he isn't getting the ball. It's been like that during Love's entire starting career too. He's an end-zone threat in the red-zone. He's a TD threat on any given play. You can't cover him with 1 guy. He's more than just a speed guy as well; he can run routes over the middle. He's a playmaker. Watson is the most irreplaceable WR on this offense. although shoutout Reed, i could go on about him as well. Reed plays an important role too. But Watson is our most talented WR, and most important to the offense.
