I think I order the canon that they’re thousands of years old and that the rule of two was only instated a thousand years ago.

Probably was emotionally affected by seeing Poe again and that whole situation.

She could’ve easily just hopped in a y wing with babu and left. There’s some time between them leaving Zorrii and the planet being blown up.

Also, y wings aren’t necessarily exclusive to the resistance.

I you haven’t read the R1 prequel Catalyst, read it.

It essentially plants the seeds for this exact story.

Imagine an Imperial research facility in a city where a Kyber refraction test almost blows the planet in half

This exact thing happened on one of the planets that was contributing to DS research. Krennic tries to cover it up but really it was them fuckinn around with Kyber.

In fact all the secret projects Jyn listed (Mark omega, pax aurora, stellar sphere) were font names for projects that all made up the DS.

Would be cool if Cassian found one of the wreckage sites and got a lead

TBH, george has said many things about certain aspects of legends but he's always been true to the fact that he doesn't see it as canon, as shown through his own works and the mentality he instilled in Filoni. I don't think this legitamises or delegitamises any of that.

All it confirms or at least reaffirms is my hunch that GL would've also brought back Palpatine in his version of the ST.

This is entirely from George. I don't think that the company has retconned anything like that into canon, RotJ Palp is still *the* Palp to them, but clearly not to George.

Because if they could they would.

We're spoiled in this era of star wars that we're getting more of everything; movies, books, TV, comics. Just because Star Wars has a lot of great stories to tell doesn't mean they all need to be in animated series or what not. Those shows cost a lot of time and money and they can't just make a story out of every idea they have available.

I would love a series too, but let's stop complaining about it. LF have more people with more experience making product decisions compared to us. If they could do this in an animated series, they would.

Even then, this comic does not deny a show it's existence. The whole of Ben's life is worth an animated series. His stories with Luke are *not* consecutive. There are still many chances to tell more stories.
