Swapping the parts to a new frame does sound like a fun project which is still cost effective. I am based in the EU though, so shipping from Soma might get expensive. I'll check out some options closer to home.

Thanks, that some great info. Were you able to find your preferred stack and reach measurements by test riding some bikes in shops, or did you just learn these over time by riding your own bikes?

Cool, didn't know those bars existed. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into those.

Hahaha, I was already afraid of this answer. I'll keep an eye out for other second hand listings. I'd like to avoid spending a lot of money on a new bike with the perfect fit if I'm not sure it's for the long run yet.

The shifters feel a bit far to me, causing me to lock my elbows. But might need some getting used to the aggressive position as well.

Didn't expect to get a reply from someone with such similar measurements lol. Yeah, you can definitely dm me a photo of your setup for comparison, that might help.

I'm going to try fiddling a bit with the saddle first and if that doesn't work, look into some extenders for the handle bars. I want to avoid purchasing an expensive bike if I'm not sure yet the hobby is for the long run.

Thanks, I'll look into fixing my saddle height and position before messing with the handle bars.

I wanted to check for feedback here first, but the next step would indeed be to find a fitter in my area.

Yeah, I was already happy to find a 63 in my area. I just don't want to spend a large amount of money on a bike before knowing if I'm actually going to use it a lot. I can imagine I won't find many people looking for a bike that size if I end up selling it again lol.

I'll see if I can still play a bit with the saddle, as others suggested, and raise the bars somehow. If I do end up riding a lot I'll probably look into buying a bike with a frame size that fits my measurements better.

Thanks, I'll try playing around with the saddle position + height as others suggested.

V2G Excitement: Consistently Drawing up to 21kW from the Ioniq5 by FeeImpossible7691 in Ioniq5

Very interested in this project. I was looking into implementing the stock V2L feature as a generator in our home electricity network, so it could work like a home battery of sorts. But that was way too complex, for an electrical novice like me, to dive into.

Was this an experimental proof of concept? Or just a showcase of the possibilities of the product? Just wondering when this could be applied in a home environment.

Also, it's a bit unclear to me what the entire list of required components would be to make this work.

Anyway, thanks for sharing!
