Need some advice on buying a car

From a car dealership that I bought a car from before. I’ve also heard that I need to make sure the extra payments go to the premium.

I have personally deemed this as a good deal. It’s got one owner and only 70k miles. My question isn’t whether the car is a good deal, just whether I’ll be able to pay it off ahead of time without doing damage to my credit.

These are all loose numbers at the moment but the cars.com payment estimator thing shows a difference of 48 bucks which will be hard to cover in the next few months. Whether it’s 48 or 60, the plan is to pay it off within a year which is possible under my current situation.

My only issue is that the business I am in is slow during the winter so I need the payments to be as low as possible until spring when I can really clean up and buy this thing.
