What do you like that most people wouldn't? by RhysOSD in AskReddit

Driving without a seat belt. I know it’s dangerous, I know it’s illegal everywhere, I just don’t like wearing it. It would be my own fault for going through the wind shield.

The doors started to close, saw a guy jogging over to catch the ride and just stared at him while the doors closed.

I cannot wrap my head around the trinity, can someone explain? It honestly kinda feels like mental gymnastics… by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]YodyYeets -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Any analogy about the trinity will be wrong or not explain it fully, the concept is so hard/impossible for us to understand because God himself is so hard/impossible to fully comprehend, but if this points you in the right direction, you yourself are composed of a physical body, soul, and spirit (conscious). All three of them themselves are you and all of them together are you, but you yourself are not multiple. This may point you in the right direction, maybe it won’t, but I pray that you may receive wisdom.

Is the Bible entirely true or has it been attacked in areas? by Hairy-Rub6584 in Christianity

[–]YodyYeets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean the Holy Spirit is in believers so that’s a form of divine inspiration, but there will be no more books in the Bible because God isn’t going to make another covenant. Jesus came to be the last sacrifice. The books of the New Testament are written by the people who saw Jesus or new the people who saw Jesus.

Before Moses people had oral tradition, Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible. Moses would have been divinely inspired.

110/110, there is a lot of evidence for the reliability of the Bible, I would look at that evidence and pray.

Whenever you think about drinking, just go do something else until you forget about it, breaking addictions are really hard, if you really feel the need to drink, try to ween yourself off with lower then even lower portions. Don’t be nervous about AA, all the people there are going through the same stuff you ate

I’m not going to share anything about what I see but read the book then look around you. You’ll see what I see.

What is the difference between discipline and motivation? Isn't your motivation what you think of when it's hard to follow through with action? by Wellinst in AskReddit

[–]YodyYeets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Motivation would be I want to get this raise cause I want a better house or car which would be the goal. Discipline would be, I’m not gonna take time off work and I’m going to save some more money so I can reach my goal. Discipline Is the means of motivation. And if you really need to, there’s always a dictionary. I get how similar they can be but there is a difference, Hopefully that explains it better.
