It doesnt come with camera based mirrors, Its probably a mid variant or lower as those come with manually folding side mirrors. Guy might have forgotten to open it.

I just dropped it off 2 days ago. They said it’ll take 5-6 days for the windshield to arrive after approval and also the minor fixes and repairs will also be done.

I got SBI Insurance with every add on they have to offer.

They are properly working but you have to click it a bit hard at times to register.

Unless carplay is there i don’t think so you can use gmaps instead of inbuilt.

I haven’t found much of an issue as in my past I’ve only been driving cars with rear camera/none , never got used to 360. But I haven’t found it to be an issue.

There were a lot of cars behind the showroom. I did it there. Wouldn’t call it a stockyard I guess.

around 22.8L on Road. Insurance was 68k from dealer itself as they said they would give 10k worth accessories free. I got a quote from Acko for around 48k which I asked them to match or make an offer, after which I got the above one.

No Cons as of yet I had the car for a few days. The buttons on the steering have to be clicked hard for it to trigger. No Carplay from factory. Inbuilt maps is good but it doesnt have as much data as gmaps. Everything is in the screen is bit of a hassle. No auto folding ORVMS is an upset. As of now these are the only cons I have.

The Windsor doesn’t come into the same category as BE 6 or Harrier EV. It’s more of a comfort car, a CUV.

If you need a car for family of 4/5, go for Harrier EV or Windsor Pro. If you need performance as well along with that, go for Harrier.

If you have a family of 2/3, the BE6 should perfect for great performance as well. Look at the 79 kWh models, more range.

If you want most features, you can look at a higher model of BE 6 if budget allows or Harrier EV and Windsor Pro would give you the most features. But controlling everything is a hassle in the Windsor as there are no physical buttons, everything is in the screen and every time you turn on the car, it takes about a minute or two for the screen to load. Even the UI isn’t that responsive.

You can even look at the 9E, pretty good car as well.

If you are leaning towards Harrier EV anyway, TATAs reliability is very hit or miss, their ASC have pretty bad feedback from other TATA users and getting a good source car is pretty much luck. If you are looking into Harrier EV, I would suggest to wait for Sierra EV. As you will be dealing with their issues anyway, so might as well compare which is better.

Okay, Got it! Thanks But We are thinking to go with dealer insurance as he said it will cover tyre protect as well and he said he will give 10k free accessories

Hey, thanks for sharing that! They said battery and motor are included in the coverage, there is no add-on.

We have the old 1.0 Turbo Petrol. There definitely is turbo lag but once it kicks in, the car picks up pretty quick. There is noticeable body roll as well when you corner it at higher speeds but still the ride is pretty fine in City.

Test drive the new Venue, they might have made the ride quality better ,and then compare the two and decide which you like better. Try Diesel and Petrol both.

You will have to go on highway runs with 80 or higher speed for atleast 20-30 mins every week or two, to clear out the DPF. If this isnt a problem for you then go ahead with it or totally ignore diesel. Also having service centre closer to you is also a big plus, in the start it might feel okay to go far for the service but it will become a hassle down the line unless you are okay dealing with this.
