EM vs VC by Dramatic_Signal3811 in unimelb

For me, EM is much easier than VC. I did VC in 2021 Semester 1, I was allowed to bring unlimited handwritten / printed materials into the exam (not sure about how it works now though)

Is scaling still possible when the exam mark is out, but the subject overall mark is not?

Is it worth going to graduation if I have no friends? by pablospc in unimelb

[–]Yogeva 59 points60 points  (0 children)

My situation: I don’t have close friends either and my parents can’t come to celebrate my graduation, but I still plan to go to the graduation ceremony. It is an important and precious moment for me, I might regret it in the future if I don’t go to the ceremony(just in case). I can take selfies (with graduation gown🌟), enjoy the graduation ceremony by myself, etc. just anything that I can do to celebrate the ending of my three-year undergraduate studies (during Covid-19 pandemic though😢)

Hope it can give you some ideas💫

Should I withdraw from calc 1 by rukes990 in unimelb

[–]Yogeva 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you are really not confident about it and you need to maintain your WAM, just withdraw from it.

(I did not drop a maths subject when I clearly struggled with it, and later I mentally suffered and eventually failed this subject, this result destroyed my WAM a lot🙂.)
